What do you think about Mods, Admins, Forum Helpers etc.

Ehhhhh... I dunno. I don't exactly know anyone personally. They could be completely the opposite of what people think so who am I to say?

 

Oh, so DS can break the rules? Too bad no-one can ban him.....

 

Technically Admins can ban him, though it wouldn't be a good idea. XD

I believe me and Justin banned Deathspank as a joke once, back in the way beginning of KH-Vids. Too bad he didn't get online at all that day, so we just unbanned him. >.>

Meh, alright. For one I'd like everyone to keep in mind I have you at my highest respect as person, and a user, just not a staff memeber. Basically, I hate alot of the things you staff members do, or don't do. Let's start with the admins. I think the two head admins are pretty much ******ed for never checking PMs or emails, making it immpossible to get into contact them, and blocking contact is not a good idea for head admins. Sara, when you admin/mod/FH someone, they're usually tons of better people for the job(I probably would say this even if I were to be moddedd, so I don't want anyone think it's because I haven't been admined/modded/FH yet), in fact half of the people you do choose are known to break the rules and spam alot, or just got here(you've modded two people before they were even at the site for a month, you have no idea if that person can really obey or enforce the ToS or not, which they usually don't). Half of the people power don't use it. Making it a waste of an admin/mod. This whole system is quite... ******ed. Mods, you do your jobs well, but over do it. You lock everything, when somethings don't need to be. I don't care about your persoanlity, I've never found you to be snooty, your answering as someone in charge, like you know something, there's a difference. As Roxas said, the FH's are useless, having a different category for them is useless, since they can't do a thing, they just get a crappy color letting them know they may be modded... Which is pointless. There are definitly too many staff members when there do not need to be so, you only need like 3 mods, and maybe like 5 admins, and no FHs... That's all I can come up with right now... But there were more reasons...

You see,I disagree with you....FH's are on there way to being a mod....
thats the next step.they cant do mod things,hence the name forum helper....
but they can infact prove they are right to be a mod by spotting spam,double posts,and report to the mods...thats what there job is.so,IMO,forum helpers are very good to have.and the admins....they have never not awnsered me...
they always anwser my pm's and stuff....and the mods,they have been mistaken for things at times,but not alot....nost of the stuff needs to be locked/moved....thats just how I see things.

You make some valid points, but you've only backed them up with maybe one example of actual events linked to your feelings on the matter. I'd love to hear more. Not trying to be an ***, but I think you've got some interesting things to say. PM me if you'd like.

 

I have respect for all the staff people. Yes, they do lock things, but if they didn't there would probably be more fights then people who were in line for the PS3. If I was warned about something, I would listen (if I'm on). So let's not complain about the work these people do.

 

I respect the cool staff who keeps this place active. Even though I think Forum Helper is a useless staff position cuz its the same as normal member, I respect htem for showing that they are worth a position.
All the guys who are staff and not active dont deserve their slot unless they somehow help the forum in other ways but just don't post.
That was my total honesty apart from mentioning names.:)

 

I'm sorry if i called the mods snobby DX man i was in a baaaad mood yesterday!
They can be a bit unfair sometimes but they are the main reason why we are here today so we should all be thankful for that...:p

 

No matter how unffair the mods are, if the forum's good, I don't mind, we owe em (really the one's who created the site and conttribute to it like DS and Xaldin and those who really take care of it like Sara).

We lock things for reasons, fyi. If a question is answered, it'll be locked to prevent people repeating the answer 10 times.

If they're off topic, or the topic is spam, we lock it.

But anyway, I think it's good that you guys posted what you thought. :) It'll help me improve. ~

 

I think a certan ADMIN has a stick up their...yeah. Certan MODS.....Are too spammy sometimes, will not say who, and you FHs are useless.

In conclusion-This forum will collape after one more how shall i say,Enraging, event or just the weight of it's self.
