What do you think about Mods, Admins, Forum Helpers etc.

Dude, I think alot of people want to be a Mod, FH, Admin or SuperMod on this site but there aren't heaps, you know.

If you want it, you'll most likely have to work for it since I'm pretty sure the titles aren't given out like party invitations.

We're expected to follow the rules, and being a member, it is just right we follow them. Mods/Admins/Super Mods exist to maintain it, make sure everything goes smoothly, close pointless topics, douse flames and ban people who are major pain in the rear.

I reckon the FH, Admin, Mods and SuperMods are doing a pretty damn fine job. I know if I have a problem on the site or there is a problem, I can just PM them and they'll come and fix it.

*shrugs*

In conclusion, the staff here rock.

But...actually...FH makes it easier for us, rather than posting an announcement that says "we need a mod, send us application." - Because this way we can all elaborate on good choices for staff.
Though we never do that much anyway. <_<

What you are about to hear are my honest opinions about the moderators...
They are great, and don't get me wrong but sometimes it seems that some of you can be pretty snobby *sorry* but hey, everyone gets snobby in some part of their life!
I respect you all for what you do no matter what XD
A mod is no different to anyone...

 

We don't really need them. When we find someone who looks good for modship, we can simply say "WE'RE GUNNA B WATCHIN U DO G00D FOR MODSHIP KTHXBYE" in a much more ruly manner.

 

Actually, I think the FHs do serve a purpose. Newbies know from the colour of their name that they are part of the staff and can be PMed for advice and questions. Plus, FHs can talk to members who are causing problems.. if a normal member were to reprimand a trouble-maker, that would be against the rules. @_@


Also, I don't think I'm 'all that' because my name is a flashy colour. xD

 

Ok, since I can't say my honest opinion, for it would be no where near nice. I'll just say that as users, I hold high respect for them as users, though as staff not so much, for they all have there problems...

Not really, your opinion is just more brutal honesty. It was true, and needed to be said...

Though if I said my problems again, I may end up leaving again, and not by choice this time. It would turn into flaming, and would result in many people getting pissed.

And I try not to be snobby. A lot of people are intimidated by me, or so I've heard, but when they sit down and talk to me they realize I'm not special...XD
