what do you think about art

what do you think art is?
I think art is... something abstract, something people likes to do and something that contains crazy things.
art is not just a drawing, but dancing naked in the middle of rain is also an art (well, never tried it, but someone might have)

okay, but i love drawing arts the most. i love making a pose which is not real :stupid:

 

To me, art can basically be anything but it has to appeal to my senses and/or emotions.

 

art is everything beautifull and emotional in a physiical APPEARENCE

 

The term "art", in a very broad sense, can refer to literally anything taken with a degree of allegorical allusion, cultural significance, or deeper meaning of any sort; and of which one may find some sort of beauty through this. This can be almost anything. A table can be art in the sense of craft; its form and function meet a basic standard yet could possibly be made in such a style pleasing to the eye. Dancing naked in the middle of the rain would indeed be called a sort of art by some depending on the ones asked, for it would convey a sense of immediate thought pertaining to the aforementioned dancing. Dancing itself is already an acclaimed art form. Literature is art for the psychological senses of immersion or an increase in knowledge referring to either topic, usually enhanced by well-crafted wordplay. Even war, as brutal and bloody as it is, could be considered art; not generally pleasing or lovely at all, mind you, but the act and procedures of war require a degree of skill and melodious repetition.

 

in my own words I veiw it as an exspression of who people are which is why everyones art is different

 

art is the one thing you like you can see everywere but you can never find it it is the one thing that you will always look for or that is what i think

 

Amen. You just can't beat the technical definition. Everything is art, because there is an art to everything.

 

I may not know art, but I know what I like.
Simple as that.
Something can be classified as art, but I have my own personal definition.
What I find to be art, another may find to be trash.

 

I believe art is a form of expressing emotions, ideas, concepts and creativity in any form.

I also feel that fashion is a very powerful form of art; especially avant garde and haute couture outfits are a very strong expression of a persons ideas and concepts.

Music is also a strong form of art to me because it shows the creativity of musicians, songwriters and vocalists.

Traditional art is beautiful also but I can't spend any longer than five minutes on a portrait unless theres a lot to take in and see. (I enjoy rather grim, hellish black and white portraits similar to dante's inferno XD)
