What do I do???

Well, the threat was definitely a bad idea on their part, but you should think about how you might be giving them a criminal record when you cannot prove that they have harmed anyone. You may think that what they are doing is bad behavior, but it is nothing to ruin their lives over. They may have threatened you out of fear for themselves. There is always another side to any confrontation, and you do not seem to considering the other side of this one.

But, that is beside the point of actual physical threat. I would say that if you do not have them physically assaulted or the like (stolen from), as you might do by telling the teacher or the law, then they will not have any reason to do so to you. If neither of you are hurting the other or telling someone else to hurt the other, then you should be able to get along fine. No reason to get all defensive when you present a more real threat to them than they do to you. Even if they beat you up now, you might ruin their records forever, and that will have many implications across the board. Now, tell me: if you were doing something that harmed no one and someone tried to tattle on you to your parents, say, staying up too late on the computer, and you knew that this would make your parents be mean to you for the rest of your life, how would you feel? Would you be willing to get violent over it? Many just might. Just because everyone says a thing is wrong does not mean that they should get in trouble for it. When you try to get someone else to come against them, they will feel threatened, and in a way they will be justified in threatening you back. It was you who initiated the force, you see. It would be different if you saw them beating someone up, but that is not the case here. It is more complex than, "But, it's the law," here. Too many people forget that, even now...

 

Either way, saying it in front of a large body of people? Never a good idea, bud.

Well, if they come after you hurt one of them really badly and lunge toward another. The third one (if they're anything like the guys I know of, who can be pretty nasty) should run away.
Like the boy two times older than me, whose nose I smashed in...when I was six.

Did you, now? No, I am not. I just have a very big problem with so much as grabbing someone's arm without their permission over drugs, let alone putting them in a cell over it. Drug laws are slippery ground, because in the end, you are threatening someone with physical violence simply because they are doing something that you consider a direputable practice. It is violence where violence has not been used, and so does not need to be used. Consider this man, who has probably had the worst day of his life today because of this issue.
