what did you think of kingdom hearts when you first heard of it

man I saw it and was like ??? then saw square logo and went nuts then rented it and beat it!!!

when I bought it my friends were sitting around asking me like a bizzilion questions about the opening cut scene what a drag

 

I thought it was weird...

"kingdom...hearts?

Is this some kind of doctor game?"

Little did I know...

 

I actually didn't know about Kh.
When I saw the trailer for Kh2, I was like "Cool. A Disney game"

 

when i first saw it was when my friend was playing it and he was on the tuortial part of the game and i was like
'this looks stupid.'then the heartless came and 'alright,this is getting good now.' and then when you get to the island i saw wakka and tidus and i was like' HELL YEAH boy.'

 

Well i was over at my friends house and he said "You wanna play kingdom hearts?" I said sure and since then i have been hoked! :)

 

When I first heard of the game, I thought it was the dumbest idea in the world. Disney mixed with FF characters just seemed really a far fetched blend that I had no idea how it would work and it seemed so lame to me that I did not bother to get the game until a year after it came out when it was on sale for 20 bucks and I thought 'oh heck, might as well try it' since I also picked up FFX at the time. I, of course, played FFX first but became bored with the game as it was very easy for me and too linear, so I finally popped the game in and was just amazed at how well it turned out. I ended up playing it through before going back to FFX and then owed apologies to a couple friends who had been saying it was a great game, because they were right and I kept saying 'yeah, sure it is'. lol

 

well i was like why are ther disney charecters in a game by square?
then i bought it and was like this game is awesome!!

 

"Oh...that boy Sora and that girl Kairi would be so cute together! That looks like a good game." And then I went out and bought it xD.

No, I don't remember my exact thoughts, but it was probably like that =)

 

Lol this brings back memories.

Kingdom hearts was my older sisters game which she would never let me play and i would watch her play for hours and hours without being allowed a turn. But she got stuck like right near the beginning and one day i went on it and did it for her but she didnt even notice lol

finally the playstation 2 got handed down to me (I live with a huge family) and i actually got to play.
Kingdom hearts didnt really get me hooked. Kingdom hearts 2 is what got me addicted.

:silence::sideways:To be honest, I thought it looked really... odd, and I never tried it, but after KH2 came out my cuzin FORCED me to play it, and I told him I would watch... 5 minutes into him playing it (I hate watching ppl play video games that look interesting) I begged him to give me the controller, and I died b/cuz I didn't know how to play it -__- but after he finished laughing hysterically, he taught meh how to play, and I loved it... I really talk alot, don't I?

 

I thought ''a square enix game with donald and goofy? strange.'' and went out and bought it ^^

 

My exact thoughts...

"Really? I mean really? Which idiot would want to make a freaking game with a kid who's got a giant key thing and runs around with Donald and Goofy, wanting to go find and rescue princesses? Haha! ******ed shiz"

Then 4 years later, I went ahead and bought the game ftw. xDD

 

Well, when I first heard of it and when I saw the gameplay, I thought it would be a pretty interesting game to play. And when I got it I really liked it. :D

 

I rented Kingdom Hearts 2 from Blockbuster one time. I thought to myself well there's not much else. Took it to my friend's house and played it there for a while and immediately got addicted. Unfortunately, I didn't get a ps2 of my own until around christmas and then i went to Blockbuster again to see what they had. That's when i rememebered KH 2 and immediately wanted to play it again. Rented it. Tired fingers, cramped legs and late fees ensued. And that's how it all started.

 

I thought, since it was Disney it would be quite childish, but its not at all! it can be cheesy at times, but i was obsessed with the game, still am.

 

I love the game series. I have all games, comics, and most action figures in my room. However, I didn't think that it would have so much Disney stuff in it.
