What did you expect when you first heard of Kingdom Hearts?

I was like "OMG OMG I have to have it" it looked soo intresting Disney with FF and when I got it I loved it and plus I was 15 when I got it

 

It immediately appealed to me, Square and Disney working together, that's gotta be amazing right. It's just that I thought that we would actually be playing as a Disney character, instead of just having them in the party. Oh well, can't win em' all.

 

I just thought it would be another game that I wouldn't care to play...boy was I wrong.

I heard the opening song and just went ahead and got it

 

I heard about it in school...
and thought it was a card game.

Why do you all look at me like that? The people who talked about it DID play cards 100% time in class...

I had been proposed to bne introduced to the first game, so I was like "oh, so it's a video game?". Then, I had no idea what to expect, since I had always thought it was a synonym for poker.

 

I wasn't expecting anything, really, but when I saw the opening I thought it seemed interesting. Then I watched my friend play it and couldn't wait to get my hands on the controller. Once I did, it was difficult to pry it loose from my fingers. I got the game for Christmas later that year and was able to further feed my addiction.

 

Dude...I just thought it looked good. I wanted to get a PS2 just so I could buy it. I did, I loved it. KH II was even better than the first, the intro song and the trailer made it look awesome.

 

I remember when it first came out and I saw the commercial. At the time I thought it looked cool due to the disney (I really didn't know about final fantasy due to the fact that I wasn't into gameing at the time) but I didn't have a ps2 so I couldn't buy. After like 2 years I got a ps2 but I for got about Kh until my friend told me about it. Once he told me about it I went and got it

 

I didn't expect anything. But I was excited. So excited. I just expected it to be good. And it was. o:​

 

I thought it was a retarted RPG game my brother had. One day I saw him playing it and I was like "That guy is SOOO ugly" (I was talking about Sora) and then I somehow wanted to play it. Two months later I bought KH2 and I thought Sora was cute >.> lol. And know I love the games. I'm about to get Re:CoM next.

Lets see....my friend told me about it and showed me the magazine ad for the game. It looks pretty interesting. On the day it first came out, my friends and I decided to buy it. It was my first PS2 game...ever....! I didn't own a PS2 yet so I borrow my friends PS2. Then Kingdom Hearts 2 come out...that's when I bought myself a PS2. Kingdom Hearts was the reason I bought a PS2 in the first place.:)

My uncle bought it for me years ago when it first came out. Then years later I found it again and said "This is that hard game I keep on failing at!" I played it and got addicted! Then Roxas came in and I got obbessed!!!!!!!!!!

 

The first and only place I had ever heard of it was on Disney channel, so, predictably, the emphasized the Disney elements, and completely downplayed the Final Fantasy elements (I never heard them mentioned in any of their commercials). Therefore, it was almost 2 years between hearing about KH1 and seeing KH2 being played by a friend. I was like "Ohhh, that's Kingdom Hearts...". I found it interesting. About that time, my friend showed me a few KH AMVs, and I liked them as well. The rest is pretty much history.

 

i didn't expect much from it, heck when i got i let it sit for a week, i thought i would be a kids type of game, wow was i wrong to let it sit there.

i'm not sure when i got hooked on it but it might have been when i got to neverland.

odd thing i've been a disney fan all my life, but i turned it down because it disney characters, now that's the whole reason i like it.

 

I didnt expect much. Hell was i wrong. I love playing this game. I cant wait to get my copy of 358/2 days.

 

I thought it looked awesome in the commercial on the tv and I was right.
