I'm reading a couple at the same time.

The Vampire Diaries: Dark Reunion by L.J. Smith
(I know, bash me, whatever. I love cheesy books like this)

Chelsea Chelsea, Bang Bang by Chelsea Handler
(I love her and all of her books. I'm not very far in this one, but I hope it picks up. I find it somewhat dull.)

Nightlight /a parody/ published by The Harvard Lampoon company
(This one just tickles me pink. It's so ridiculous and perfect. I love it to death.)

Walden by Henry David Thoreau. I have been meaning to find this lovely novel for a great while now.

I'm reading the House of Night series by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast. The story is very interesting, as well as the characters. Some of it is kinda predictable, sadly, though the story itself is amazing. I'm on the fourth book, Untamed, and so far it's pretty good. The writing style differs greatly from the last series I read, and I'm not sure I like it too much. Eh.

Regardless, awesome read and very catchy story line. Vampyre series, so it's good. =)

I've been given my AP English assignments for summer reading so I've started The Bible recently. (I'm determined to not judge it religiously. It's just a piece of literature for the class). It's been an. . . interesting read to say the least. I like some of the stories within it but some of them are difficult to wrap my mind around the idea.

I'm reading the classic "Treasure Island" by Robert Louis Stevenson for school.
    I want to like it but it's just way too detail-y. ;~;

Also rereading the Order of the Phoenix. Just 'cause.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians, first book. I really didn't enjoy it as much as the Harry Potter series, to be honest.

I just read Eragon today :O

It was amazing for a book that was written by a 15-year old.

I just read my new copy of 'Inside Out: A Personal History of Pink Floyd'.
If anyone apart from me is a PF geek, they'll know all about it, but here for all people who don't: Written by Nick Mason, the only member of Pink Floyd who has constantly been in the group since it's formation, and it is his recollection of his years with the Floyd. I enjoyed it immensely.

I'm reading Divine Madness by Robert Muchamore (don't know if I spelt that right) which is out of the Cherub series. It's good so far, it's the second cherub book I've read today, (I finished Man vs Beast earlier today) I've read most of the series I'm just going back and borrowing ones from school I've missed - since I've got nothing to do till I end school, I just sit and read in lessons. It's about of group of kids that are trained up as undercover agents and are actually quite exciting.

Nights In Rodanthe by Nicholas Sparks.

I love this book. I love his stories in general. He's really one of the only romance artist I like. This book is such a wonderful story that says you can fall in love again no matter what you've been through. <3

East of Eden by John Steinbeck.

The reason I'm reading it is kind of interesting... It's actually because this story inspired the song "Monster" by Meg and Dia. I was so incredibly intrigued by this song that I had to know its background fully. And I thought John Steinbeck was cool to begin with anyway, having already read some of his other works: Tortilla Flat, which I thought was very enchanting in its own way, and The Pearl, which was ultimately depressing, but still a worthy read.

I'm not even halfway through East of Eden; it's a pretty long book. But I've really enjoyed it so far. It is a bit more of a mature read though, so if anyone decides to pick it up, just be aware of that.

I'm currently reading Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne. It's one of the classics I got free on my Sony Reader so I thought I may as well read it. I'm now part way through it and it's better than I expected. It's not too hard to read and makes me want to read on. Also I quite like the titles to each chapter.

So far it reads okay, but I'm saving most to read on the airplane.

I just got it today and I only have about a few pages left! I guess I think it's good so far beause of my bias view of the series. It's basically a list of short stories published in a Japanese magazine called 'The Sneaker' (I know this due to research and Tanigawa-San's afterword). All four stories in the book have been episodes, the second story being from the second anime series.

I am reading Wizard's first Rule by Terry Goodkind. Book one of The Sword of Truth.

I love the book. The imagery is superb, and I enjoy his unique style of writing. I like fantasy and sci-fi, and I was actually starting to not like fantasy as much, because it all seems so cheesy, but these books definitely renewed my faith in the genre. It's a great book, and the wizard trips balls.

I am reading it as part of 8 books I have to read for a trivia competition my library holds every year.
So far it's not bad though I am only 4 chapters in.
