    Floating Dragon by Peter Straub.

I found it scarier than most Stephen King books I've read, and that's really saying something. Epic ****.

    Fairest by Gail Carson Levine.

I love this book, even if it is out of my age range. A lovely twist on the Snow White story, and takes you back to the world of Ella Enchanted.

I'm currently reading The Night World Series: Book 2. by L.J Smith

There are always 3 stories in the book. It just talks about the world of immortal and supernatural creatures like witches, vampires, werewolves and the like. But what catches my eye is that the members of the Night World have laws... and the laws say that no human must know of the Night World... and never fall in love with humans. So when they break the law the must've... fallen in
    love.

The First Story is entitled, "Dark Angel" which talks about a spirit still lurking around and causing trouble for the main lead, Gillian. Saying that he is her soulmate... but in reality, they are somewhat like cousins.

The Second Story is, "The Chosen" which talks about Rachel, and how the creatures of the Night World, namely the vampires, destroyed her life. When she was young, her mother and friend, Timmy, were killed by a vampire. So she decided to take vengeance against them. Armed with a wooden stake and her skills in combat, she has killed lots of vampires, but none of them was the man that killed her mother. She continues looking for him until she gets into trouble with a vampire named Quinn. Her soulmate. This story is my favorite among all stories.

The third one is, "Soulmate" which talks about Hannah, who has been writing notes without realizing she's been doing them, what's weird is that the notes say, "Dead before seventeen", "Remember the Three Rivers – do NOT throw this note away", and then "He's coming". She finds out about the Night World after surviving from a wolf ambush and learns of her soulmate, The Lord of the Night World, Thierry Descouedres. But then, there's Maya Redfern, who is jealous of Hannah, and wants her dead. I haven't finished reading this story so... I don't know what's gonna happen. xD

The Pretty Committee Strikes Back is book 5 in The Clique series and i love all of the books.the series is also the reason for my sig. :D

i have to read The Giver for school and it's really dumb.i'd have to say don't read it unless you like Lois Lowery or you have to read it for school.

I'm reading "Heat Wave" by Best-selling author, Richard Castle. Then again, I don't know who really wrote the book, because Castle is actually a fictuous character in an ABC show of the same name. Probably the writer/creator of the show. Who knows.

    Still a good book though.

    "Elsewhere" by Gabrielle Zevin

Interesting.... I'm not a huge fan of the of the tense she's written it in. It's third person in present tense. It kind of feels like Elmo talking, except with a bigger vocabulary. For me, present tense only feels right in first person.
The concept is quite unique, though. I love the plot.

Wow, you are reading a book written for adolescent girls and then you insult a good book? I see a logical fallacy there.

Since my last post, I'm now reading a ton of Eugene O'Neill's plays for a literary criticism paper that I have to write and have just started Long Day's Journey Into Night and it's amazing. C:

Alternating between The Outline of History by H.G. Wells and The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz by Mordecai Richler. I would assume only three people on the entire forum would recall the latter.

Currently reading War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy. An absolute beast of a book, but a great read so far.

As one of my lectures so described it, "It's the EastEnders of it's time", to which i agree. xD
