After Dark- Haruki Murakami Although it is a Japanese author, this is not manga (surprise, surprise!). It's actually a novel. From what I read so far, it has two storylines. The first is this one with girl named Mari Asai who meets this guy who knows her sister in a Dennys. She tells him that she can speak Chinese and this leads her to end up helping a hooker (and that's as far as I read there). The other one is really weird. Nothing really happens in this, but I think it will be used as major foreshadowing. In it, Mari's older sister, Eri Asai, is lying on a bed, apparently in a drug induced sleep. Everything is quiet in the room and then a the unplugged tv turns on to show this guy with plastic wrap on his face looking at her through it. This book is sorta weird to read because it is all in the present tense and the author writes as if the reader is an invisible camera in the story, which makes it sorta funky to read.

i'm reading the truth about forever. it's a good book kinda predictable but it has like a good plot or whatever.

 

Finally got the last 3 books of the Star Wars: Legacy of the Force series so I'm starting on those.

Loves Music, Loves to Dance by Mary Higgins Clark. I've heard good things about this book. I just need to find out for myself, I suppose.
