Help What are rep and rep bars?

What are they? People have been talking about 'rep and rep bars', what are they?

 

First of all we're not blind, we can read in normal size too.

Rep shows how popular you are. There are 3 buttons under your miniprofile in every post. The middle button shows 2 options, give rep and take rep. You cannot give or take rep from yourself, only to others. A rep bar is this little green box you have under your avatar. Every 100 rep points is one green box.

 

Rep is basically reputation points, the more rep you have then the more rep bars you get.

Rep bars are those little green squares that you have underneath your avatar. The more rep you have, the more of these you get, you get one for every 100 rep until a certain point (IIRC after 600 it goes up only occasionaly such as every 200 and then stops completely later on)

You need 100 rep to be a premium member but really it serves no function.



To see how much rep you have, go to your User CP and scroll down, you should see something that says, latest reputation recieved and you can see the last 10 reps you were given.
