Were you skeptical of the Disney/S-E combination at first?

I was a fan of both FF and Disney. I always wanted to hear what Squall sounded like. Especially when my cousin showed me that cut scene with him talking.

 

I suppose I was. When I first saw KH I didn't even see the disney characters on thew cover xD I already wanted to play with out seeing them.
When I did notice them though, to be honest, my eager of playing KH did rise a bit. I mean I saw goofy and donald holding weapons and I saw Mickey in the orgi hood so I was like 'oh let's get this game! I really want to see how this will go!' also I was a big fan of the classic disney [still am - a bit xD] and S-E so yeah, I guess I was x3

...I was 9 or 10 when I found out about KH so yeah ._.

 

Nope. Just thought it would be interesting.

 

I really didn't care, honestly. I only cared about SE after I played Kingdom Hearts, so...

But that fact that it was disney didn't stop me from playing it any.

 

I played KH2 first, and it was really good, but i think there was a few cheesy disney lines here and there, and Donald and Goofy kinda made it more kiddie - but its still the best game i have ever played

 

I thought it was weird at first. I wondered how the Disney Characters interacted with the story and how they got there in the first place. O.o Then when I figured out the story, I thought it was coolio. :)

 

I only saw the KHII trailer 1st I never saw the KH1 trailer but when I saw kh2 I thought, "Pffft babyish...."

 

So did my brother, Hero Form.
He liked it.
But he made me play KH1 and I got obsessed with it.
But I thought it'd be like for 5-year-olds, because of the Disney stuff.

 

I was a little skeptical at first, but after I saw the awesomeness of the Disney characters, I had to go and change my mind, because of the way Mickey used his Keyblade in Kh2, and Donald and Goofy using their weapons. Hades even astonished me...O_O

 

Yeah. At first i was like "you have got to be kidding me" when i saw the Disney stuff. Finally after several months my aunt got me to play it and i have to say i do like the games a lot now. Beautiful story, humor, adventure...its pretty nice. And Sora's friendship with the characters makes it better for some reason. I'm happy. :) It would have been a shame to never experience these games.

 

when i first heard of it, i was like, "A disney game?! whos the main chara gonna be? A donut named bob?! " Then i played the game, and kicked myself for being a ******. KH1 AND 2 ROCK SO HARD THEY'RE BOLDERS!!

 

Not really...I thought it was a pretty cool idea. I like it because my dad doesn't like me playing violent games so I just told him Disney characters were in there. I wasn't that surprised because I didn't know much about S-E back then anyways. I looked more at the rating...​

Yes! xD I thought it was werid. O.o I rember playing KH1 once... I never got out of Destiny Islands... (It was a long time ago, mkay?) Then I began to watch footage of KH2on the net... I tried it, and utterly fell in love with it! xD

 

I didnt know so much about S-E, so I didnt realise how epic a combo the whole thing really was...
I'd always liked Disney, even though I was growing out of it, and now I like Disney all over again, and more than when I was younger :D
The Disney part hadnt worried me, because I'd seen the trailer, and the game case, and read reviews, and it sounded like a really good game, and didnt look so childish.
I can see why people would have been skeptical, though, and I hope there aren't many people who haven't bought these great games because they have Disney in them.

 

Well duh, it's probably one of the worst combinations ever...

Both of the companies are very good I just didn't see them working together because in my mind they are oppistes. Disney is like fairy tales and cartoons while S-E is also fairy talish but more serious and with higher graphics. Turns out pretty good though.​

 

*shrugs* I liked the game, I was 9 of course!!!so I didn't mind the Disney stuff.....and i didn't know what square Enix was....

 

yeh, it was a great idea, however i kinda guess putting disney characters in did put me off.
