Kingdom Hearts II Were u angry...

Were u angry about the fact that Sora beat Roxas when they sparred in TWTNW.

Personally, I didn't like that very much. I think they should've turned it into a tie. (after all, they're technically the same people) That way, it wouldn't seem bias in any way for people to spur up the fact that Sora is better than Roxas and etc.

Wat do u think?

No, I'm glad Sora won. It would be ******ed for Roxas to win. Rocas is just half a person, Sora is whole.

It's fitting that Sora had won the fight, since the game usually gives the idea that the heart is power. Yes, Roxas did let his guard down, but he fought Sora to test, not only his powers, but his heart and find out why he was chosen by the keyblade (Who chose him is left unexplained). Sora winning could prove that his heart is his real power and Roxas, who has no heart but able to sense Sora's, couldn't call the full power of the keyblade.

((Blah, I really can't explain this.))

 

But still, a tie would've been pretty kool...

 

i liked that sora won. roxas had his chance and wasted it. he put his keyblade down and let down his guard. so, i'm glad sora won.

Roxas is half of Sora yes, but Sora is only half complete without Roxas for that same reason. Since the combining happened at the end of KH2, Roxas and Sora are both only half whole during this battle.

Now for my idea. Right before Roxas actually lost Sora was disarmed and Roxas had two keyblades still. This of course we all know, but when Roxas pinned down Sora's keyblade he had to pass him to get there. Another spot for victory. Then Roxas had Sora's keyblade down and pointed at him instead of slashing him. And when Sora got his key back Roxas took the shot instead of blocking.

Most of these people respond with "he got cocky," "he let his guard down," or "he was surprised." but all of these require emotion to some degree and Roxas is a nobody. That leaves me to conclude that Roxas never actually intended to win the fight so an actual victor can not be called.

 

I thought it was funny how roxas seemed to acted SOOO surprised when Sora did his little keyblade come back to me technique

then i thought

wait...why can keyblades cut so well...?

Specially the Kingdom Key

 

In most gameplay it's as dull as a stick. In cutscenes and reaction commands it can cut anything other than people. Also it can open anything with a lock, unless it's locked with a magical minigame. Weird thing a keyblade...

 

It wouldnt make sense if Roxas won. He let his guard down, and was suprised when Sora called his keyblade back.

i agree that sora heart is his power to win the battle...but i do believe that roxas has a heart too .. i think is the keyblade itself to chose sora.. since roxas belong to the dark side..and maybe sora heart is stronger

 

I never said Roxas had to WIN. Just TIE...

I was just surprised that Roxas and Sora didn't disappear when Roxas was beat.

 

Sora was destined to win the fight and the reason he fought was more pure than Roxas's. His reason was because of his friends and defending others. Roxas was only in it for himself and didn't even realize he had friends until one died and then he was just fighting because he was jealous. He fought with a lot of rage and had Sora been even more into the battle, he'd have done better. It's not like I don't like Roxas, but he was totally fighting for all the wrong reasons against the wrong people.

 

No, Sora defeated him fair and Square, Roxas is only a Nobody, and Sora is a Somebody. So Somebody Wins! WHOO XD.. to bad for Roxas, i like them both tho.

 

As said many times before, Roxas let his guard down. :/
