I'm on the train, for the next 17 stops with no book to read that I left at home in the cold to arrive at Uni for the first time, which i'm likely going to be early by 2 hours for and be stuck outside in the cold.

And I thought students were just supposed to get drunk. This wasn't as advertised.

Could be a dragon with it's mouth open on the tracks ready to swallow the whole train.

    Could be.

The parties must be wild, let alone the drinking games.

    That is combined admittedly.
That encompasses the walk there and back, about 15mins, the train there and back again is about 1hr 40-50mins whilst the bus there and back is about 35-45mins and the interchange and waiting for said services combined to about 10 mins.

Thankfully it's direct, and since i'm doing an English Literature and Creative Writing courses, I can do my reading and work on there if I haven't got a mess of people surrounding. So i'm putting it towards my study time. However, forgot my book today so I just rested and stressed.

If it makes you feel better, parking at a commuter school is hell. Everyone's classes start around the same time, and unless your class starts at 8AM (the earliest slot at my school), you're going to find the good parking lots cramped.

Likewise, everyone's classes end at the same time, so when you're trying to leave the parking lot, you're often subject to long lines and people laying on their horns.

I could usually drive home in 20 minutes, 15 if I take the highway, but it's often extended to 40 or 50 from waiting in parking lots.

You think parkings bad, my car is currently parked tightly at the side of the house and I have to shuffle out of the side passenger door if I have space, or the boot (trunk you Americans) of the car.

But no it doesn't make me feel better! XD
It'll be fine, gotta be optimistic about it otherwises I'd be depressed, eh?

Parking gets tight at school that I do fear I may have to maneuver my way out in a... non-traditional fashion. This is probably the sole advantage of having a convertible. The disadvantage, of course, would be rain leaking onto me even when the top is up.

Getting out of the back isn't that bad tbh. But first thing in the morning getting to work is just... tiring and puts you in the bad mood.
