Well, wish me luck.

​Today is my first day of high school.
I'm actually quite nervous and maybe a little unsure.
I don't even know what to feel at the moment.
In about an hour, I will officially be a ninth grader.
Damn, just the other day I was learning how to walk. . .

Lol high school, enjoy being grouped with other people 40seconds in and never getting away from that grouping.

 

By september 20, I never have to see any of my highschool friends ever again

Remember every movie you've ever seen with high school in it? Yeah, forget those. I was a "nerd" in high school, but I was never canned or pranked, and I had very little trouble making friends. Also, the social circles aren't nearly as exclusive as you may think. I had a lot of friends that played sports, for example. Heck, the captain of the football team was in my Advanced Placement classes.

High school honestly isn't that bad. I've heard that middle school is a lot worse. If you learn to carry yourself like an upperclassman rather than acting like you're still in middle school, you're more likely to earn the respect of the upperclassmen, and it's good to have at least one of them in your corner. Even better, the teachers will respect you more. Try joining a club! Clubs are fun.

Be sure to focus more on your studies than on the social scene. Yeah, you might get some people calling you a "nerd" or whatever when you decide it's more important to finish your English paper than go to a party hosted by someone you barely know, but in the end, it'll be worth it. You don't want to be in your senior year, trying to make up as many credits as possible just so you can graduate on time, wondering to yourself, "Was that party really worth it?" At the same time though, don't kill yourself with stress. Sometimes, it's okay to get a B. (Hard lesson for me to learn right there.)

Um... Yeah. Don't be an idiot. Don't hang out with the wrong crowd. Don't get caught up in the social scene. Just keep that stuff in mind, and high school shouldn't be that hard.

Okay, I was bullied and harassed all through high school.
When someone makes fun of you, or if someone won't leave you alone, telling a counselor doesn't help at all, you can try, but it did me no good.
Just try your best to stand up for yourself, and if that doesn't work, let them know that you don't give a flying **** what you think and then ignore it. They may not go away, but it'll make you stronger.

 

Go to school with a music player blasting Riot Grrrl songs. Folks will leave you alone.

High school was great for me. I was probably the guy that most of you hated in high school.

 

I guess High School is not at all that bad, but I just get horrible anxiety over homework and classes and stuff ugh. It all depends on the teacher personally, my Anthropology teacher was my favorite, near the end of the school year all we did was watch movies like The Big Lebowski and Gladiator.

 

If there is a talent show, do a dance and sing along to this song with some friends.

I meet up with Olivia and Nicole and we just stayed together.
In most of my Block A classes I sit by cute guys. ;-;
Its awkward.
But anyways, tonorrow I have Product Team and Guitar and Geometry with Sam, Nicole and Olivia so, it's all good.
Although there was this one blond chic.
I don't know why, but shes in my Geography class and shes just. . . . Annoying as hell!
