Wow, that bit about gravity is pretty interesting. ...but what!? I just... I don't understand why. Who wakes up in the morning and decides to break into a farm and club chickens to death!? If you're trying to make some political statement... explain? I just don't get the euphemism here. And if they're trying to protest mistreatment of animals by those who prepare meat for consumption... you beat chickens to death!? Isn't clubbing them just as bad as killing with the intent to eat? I fail to see the "why" here. Maybe it was some former-employee throwing a tantrum, trying to get back at the company or something. At the very least, we know the "Eat Mor Chikin" cows aren't behind this.
I think it's "if you don't have chickens to sell, you can't make money. If you don't make money, you can't keep your business afloat." Also, live chickens produce eggs which produce live chickens, who might live in bad conditions. Honestly, I think it's just some person who didn't think things through before clubbing over 900(0) chickens to death.
