well i bought a ps3 80 gb yesterday

    it seems that it can't play ps2 games o_o is there a place somewere on the internet you can download like an addon or something

    help please

    It's sad to say, but both the 360 and the PS3 have very limited backward compatibility, so you'll probably only get to play few PS2 games. And sorry, I doubt there's an addon to make it any better.

    The newer versions have little to no backwards compatibility. You were better off getting an older one with less space if you wanted to play PS2 games.

    so you can't play games like kingdom hearts 2 on it ?

    Sadly, no. You'd need a regular PS2, or an older PS3, like the 40GB.

    I don't think so. The left it out for a reason. If they wanted it in there, they would have it already in there. They wouldn't put it in and update.

    Why like turn that system of ? if ps2 had it. I think more fans is getting mad on that.

    Sony cut out the Emotion Engine in the newer PS3 models, which allowed PS2 backward compatibility, to cut down the price of the system, making it more available to the masses.
