After we paid, we left. Now what? There's no point in going to school or rotting back in the dorm. I spun around to face Soap. "Your turn. You pick what to do!"

 

"I don't know. I guess I could get a new shirt to replace the one that got ruined? But I don't want to drag you along on that. Seems kinda boring. What would you like to do runt?He smiled at her after calling her a runt seeing as how she was a few feet shorter than he was, and he was wanting to see her reaction to it.

 

"Oh, I don't mind shopping that much..." I said, "Mind as well, cuz I'm bored." Then I heard it. 'Runt'?! I hate being called short. "Agh! Don't call me that!!" I yelled at him. My cheeks reddened. "God! Don't EVER call me that again!!" I stabbed my index finger into his chest.

 

Hahaha, sorry about that. Didn't mean anything by it.She poked him in the chest with her finger, but it didn't bother him. He then smiled at her and place his hand on her head."Alright, let's go shopping then."

 

Soap put his hand on my head. I wasn't angry anymore, but, my chest got tight. My cheeks got a little warm. Greaat... Don't tell me... I looked up at him through my bangs. He was smiling. Oh boy... I shook my head to clear my thoughts.

We walked around the mall looking for a store with clothes that would fit Soap's image. The whole time he walked at the same pace as me, not to slow, not too fast.

We finally found a pretty good store. The store was unisex, with graphic tees, various jeans, and a lot of accessories. I spotted a table with brightly coloured tees with Monster Hunter graphics. In the back shelf, there were tees with the Loonie Toon characters, a few with Mickey or Minnie, and even some with ONE PIECE designs. I walked over to the accessories section. I saw a messenger bag that I liked, but I also wanted a wallet chain... Sigh... A dilemma.

OOC: The store is based off Uniqlo, an awesome international store. There's stores in Japan, HK, and europe (that's all i know about. i think there are some in the US...)

 

When Squid made it back to the dorms he noticed the bloody bandages and t-shirt in the trash can. "Hmmm.......Looks like Soap did another stress relievers today." He thought to himself, while shaking his head. "Now where would he be......Ruined a shirt...... A new one at that..... so he probably getting another one....I'll check the mall maybe he's there." Squid left his dorm, and walk out of the building towards the mall. As he continued towards the mall his stomach growled, he forgot that he hasn't eaten yet. So he popped in his right side headphone and listened to his music as he walked towards the mall trying to ignore the hunger that was consuming him.

 

Soap looked through all the different shirts, and couldn't find the one he had gotten ruined, and was thinking to himself,Should I get a new shirt, or just deal without. I have plenty of shirts still. hmmmmHe kept browsing through them when he happened upon a joker shirt he didn't have. He picked it and looked at the size and was in luck, it was his size. He grabbed it off the rack and walked over to Chie"Find anything that you want Chie?"

 

"Well there's this messenger bag that I really like, but I kinda need a wallet chain... I can't decide!!" I told Soap. "Ooo... That shirt looks cool!" I pointed at the tshirt he was holding.

 

"Do you not have enough money for both?He asked her,probably already knowing the answer to the question. She then pointed at the shirt that I picked out and said it looked cool."Thank you, I don't have this one yet, so I need it for my collection.

 

Soap asked if I had enough money for both. Uh. "We-ll..." I had used up much of what I had on me on manga... Darn... Shouldn't have bought those UtaPri fanbooks. "Not really...I only have enough for one... Well, I guess I'll get the wallet chain cuz I need one..." I picked up the wallet chain. "Shall we go pay for the stuff?"

 

Sure, you lead the way.Soap had picked up the bag for her and put it under his shirt so she wouldn't see him get it for her. They walked up to the counter and she paid for her things first, and then I got my two things. She didn't see him buy the bag so he kept it a secret till later on.

 

We walked out of the store. Across the street, we saw someone familiar. "Hey!!" I called to the boy. I waved my arms in the air. He looked kinda like Soap, so I think his name was Cuttle...

 

"Who are you calling too?He asked her with a confused look on his face. He looked around and couldn't see which person she was yelling at cause of all the people around."I don't see anybody.....

 

"Huh?" I looked around. There was no one. Was I seeing things? Ugh. I have no idea. "Heheh..." I glanced up at Soap. "Must have been someone else..." What's wrong with me....

We walked over to the park in the neighbourhood. I sat down on one of the swings. I don't even know what time it is... I'm too lazy to check though... My feet were getting tired from walking around so much and my muscles were beginning to become sore from the brawl.

 

Soap put the back of his hand on her forehand"Hmmm.....you don't seem to be running a fever, so your not sick. Maybe your just crazy, haha"He said jokingly. They had been walking for awhile and she decided to rest on one of the swings that was in the park that they had walked to. He took up a seat in the swing next to her.

 

"Hah....." I took a deep breath. I was getting a bit bored. Suddenly, I felt like picking a fight... My hands were itching to punch someone. But I had promised not to. Before I met that person, I have always been known as the Demon Princess. I have beaten the crap out of guys and girls from other gangs and I always won. But one day, I lost. When I was lying on the cement, crying, he came and helped me. He helped me out of my old life. But then he got hurt because of me. That's why he's gone. It's all my fault. I dunno why, but I feel really close to Soap. Maybe it's because he reminds me of him... I have mixed feelings right now... I know that I hurt everyone around me. I don't wanna get Soap hurt because of me.

Tears blurred my vision. I sniffed quietly, trying to hide the fact that I was crying. I'm usually strong and rarely cry, but I don't know why the tears won't stop today...

 

He was swinging a little bit back and forth just passing the time, and then he looked over at Chie and saw that she was trying to hide tears from her eyes. He didn't really know what he should do. He was never really the one for being emotional. But he felt that he was suppose to do something."Hey......are you okay? Is something wrong? Did I do something wrong?

 

I sniffed again. "N-No... It's not you. For some reason, I just feel like crying. It feels like there's a huge hole inside me. I don't know why. I probably got into fights to fill that hole with pain... Why do I feel so lonely?" I scoffed, "It's just weird. I'm not acting like myself. Ugh... sniff... I can't stop..." I rubbed the sleeves of my hoodie on my eyes trying to dry my tears. I kept looking down. He had already seen me cry, after he got beat up, but I didn't want to show my crying face to him again...

 

"Does this have to do with about that guy that you knew that you talked about earlier today..?"He looked at her with worry in his eyes. He didn't know he was feeling like this. He had never liked a girl before, so he didn't know what to feel. Maybe he felt something for Chie, soap wasn't an expert on these things.You know there was this time in this tournament when I was about your age, that it was me and this other guy fighting in the finals. I was so confident that I could win, that I went out there and was prepared to win the championship. I lost. I sulked for two weeks until my master finally told me something. He said "Stop looking behind, and look forward. It won't do you any good looking behind you". I never knew till later after he had passed away on what he was talking about. But what he was saying was that we should never dwell on the past and always look at what's happening now and what will happen. We can't do anything to change the past. I think whatever it is that happened between you and that guy, you should let go of it. It isn't any good to hold on to the past, but we should never forget it either.
