Soap had walked around the city for awhile now, and got lost.He didn't know where he was, until he came across some guys that were his size or a little bit bigger than him from the school that was on the other side of the city. They were rival schools, because our school always kicked their butts in all the sports. The bad thing about the guys he had run into, is that he had beaten all there faces in once before when they were all on the boxing team of the other school."Hey fella's, I see them black eyes didn't cause any permanent damage to your pretty faces, haha."That was all soap could say before they gained up on beating the tar out of him. They beat on him for about ten minutes before getting tired of it since it wasn't no fun anymore. Soap got up to his feet and has holding his upper body up by holding onto his legs. He wiped the blood from his face from the nose and mouth."You know, I did deserve that, but it wasn't for beating the crap out of ya'll. No it was for something else I did earlier. But you guy wanna hear something funny. It took all of you at once just to beat me up. I bet ya'll couldn't do that one at a time could you?They turned back around to face him again. Apparently what he said made them mad. But his trick worked. The biggest, and the stupidest one came at him by himself. Soap had no problems delivering a quick two jabs to his guy and then finishing the big guy off with a right hook to his chin. He went down like a sack of bricks. Then the rest of them came at him all at once.".........oh crap......."

 

Wingly stood against the wall in a room of absolute silence. No one had said anything for a while, and he was wondering why. Sure it might have been a bit to take in, but if they didn't worry about it rationally, or something like that, it was easy to understand. Well, besides the whole shadow coming to life. That one is just something to go with and not question, he figured. "So, what are you guys planning on doing now? Are you thinking of maybe trying to go back to that place? Because if so, make sure you take me. I think I'd like to see something like this." He knew he wasn't going to say much to make people feel better, but he hated being in a room with absolute silence.

 

Suddenly I had a really bad feeling. Screw school. One day's not gonna make a difference! I turned around and bolted out the doors. I ran towards town. As I neared the next street over, I saw a few thugs whaling on some guy.
"Hey you!" I shouted.
They paused and looked up, but I still couldn't see who they guy was.
"Hn? It's justa chick."
"Shaddup you idiots. Get off that guy." adrenaline pumped through my veins.
"Screw you."
Then I snapped. I ran towards the thugs and jump snap kicked the guy sitting on the victim's chest. He flew backward. I turned around and faced the other two. I roundhouse kicked one of them in the chest and axed kicked the other in the shoulder. The two clutched where I kicked them. I laughed on the inside, but I didn't notice the leader behind me.

 

His vision was blurry, one to many shots to the head, but he could still hear fine. He heard some girl yell at the guys that were pounding him to a pulp. He thought to himself Crap, some girl is getting involved now. Now I have to make sure she doesn't get hurt....great. She actually managed to dispatch three of them, but I think she got a little over excited because she didn't see the ring leader, hisagu, the boxing captain come up from behind her. Soap looked up and squinted his eyes so he wouldn't get blood in his eyes. He saw that is was Chie, and then he saw hisagu throw his mean right hook that managed to knock Soap around in the past. Before he knew it, he jumped to his feet and jumped in between hisagu and chie and he took the punch square in the face. He turned his face to look at hisagu and then spit out some blood and then charged hisagu and beat the tar out of him. After he was beaten to unconsciousness, the others had grabbed their captain and ran off. Soap then fell to the ground because he was woosey from the ass whoopin

 

I whipped around, seeing this giant running at me, fist up. I raised my arms, bracing mtself for the punch. It never hit me. Just as I opened my eyes, I saw the guy who the thugs were beating up stand in front of me, taking it. I gasped. He spit out blood then went after the leader. After the leader went down, the others dragged their leader away. The boy stood there, panting. Then his knees gave and he collapsed. I ran over to him. It was Soap. "Oh god. You're bleeding." his eyed were closed. There was a gash on his forehead, blood dripping down the side of his face. "Sh-" I swore. If only I hadn't run away. God, I'm so stupid. Soap was the type that would beat himself up after that.
"I-It's all my fault you're like this..." I whispered. I blinked back the tears. There's no time to cry. I gotta do something. First, check injuries and how bad they were. I examined him and found that he may have fractured a rib or two. He had a cut on his forehead and an eye was starting to bruise. His breathing was slightly ragged, probably because of the possibly fractured ribs. His legs were fine. I felt nothing broken. I decided to get him back to conciousness. Hopefully he's fine to at least limp back to the dorm.
"Hey, Soap. C'mon wake up." I tried slapping his cheeks lightly.

 

He felt someone slapping him on the face. He opened his left eye so he could see since he had wiped the blood from that one. He saw Chie sitting over him crying."Hey.................why you crying?"All he could do right now was look up at her. He couldn't move very well because well.....he did just get the **** beat out of him. He wasn't in bad shape though, just really sore.

 

"Eh? W-What are you talking about? I-I'm not crying!" I looked away, rubbing my eyes. "You idiot..."

I switched back to my usual mode. "Anyways, let's get you back to the dorm." I said, helping him up. I put his arm over my shoulders and I slowly got him up. I let him put weight on me, as we slowly made our way back to the dorms.

He looked at her rubbing the tears out of her eyes"hpmh......you're such a liar."He slowly picked himself up and started hobbling as best as he could trying not to hang over Chie a lot, he didn't want to get blood all over her."So............why did you come and start fighitng? You could have gotten yourself hurt you know....."

 

"Hmm... Well I vowed my life to helping people. Or somethin' like that." I grinned. "I've promised someone that I would always help someone in need. But he's gone now..." I drifted off, remembering the most important person in my live.
I noticed him walking weirdly. "It's fine," I said. "Ypu can put more weight on me. Not scared of blood!" I pulled his arm a bit, forcing him to lean on me more.

 

I'm sorry to hear that. He seemed like a nice guy." As they were walking she said that I could put more of my weight on her and that she wasn't afraid of blood. After what I just saw her do to those guys, it was more of the fact he didn't want to ruin her clothes. She then pulled my arm, she threw Soap off his balance and he fell onto Chie.

 

Squid sat leaning his chair back, his feet prop on his desk. He was staring out the window, not listening to the teache's lesson. He wondered why his brother wasn't in class. He thought to himself "Hmm.... Maybe he hanging out with Chie......." The bell rang, Squid got up and left, as he walked out of the class he decided to go get is head phone and skip next class and go back to his dorm.

 

Soap almost fell over."Ack! Sorry!" I apologized. We got back to the dorm and we headed to his room. I got him to the couch inside. "Okay... what hurts?" I asked. "We should treat those wounds." I went to the bathroom and retrieved the first-aid kit. I opened up the box and took out the bottle of rubbing alcohol, gauze, and bandages.
I decided to start with the cut on his forehead. I poured some alcohol on a piece of gauze. "This is gonna hurt..." I warned him.

 

"It's okay, that was my fault."We managed to make it back to the dorms. Nobody was around."Guess everybody is at class huh?She took soap up to his room and put him on the couch that was in there. She asked him what hurt so she could treat it."If you have anything in that first aid kit that treats hurt pride, that would be swell, other than that, this isn't really anything. I have been through much worse than this.She had pulled out the rubbing alcohol and bandages and told him that it was going to hurt when she put on the alcohol. What she didn't know was that he has gone through this so many times before that he was use to it by now. He took and deep breath and let her put on the rubbing alcohol. He twitched a little, but nothing else.

 

"Pfft. I guess it hurts dude's prides to be saved by a girl..." I stuck a bandage on the cut after I wiped it. "You sure that there's no other injuries? What if you have a fractured rib? Check, please..." I was really concerned because the thugs could have dealt major damage.

 

"Sorry, I didn't mean like that...."He took off his shirt and checked each of his ribs, making sure nothing was broken or out of place. Their didn't appear to be any broken ribs, just a few big bruises."I don't think anything is broken. I think were all good here.He went to go put his shirt back on, but he looked at it before he put it back on."Well that's ruined. Just great, I just got this one too."He got up from the couch and threw the shirt away in the waste bin and got one of his plain white t's from his drawer and put it on.

 

Soap began to take his tshirt off "?!" I looked away, cheeks burning. "Dude! You don't just take your shirt off in front of a girl, no matter how much of a guy I act like!"

While he checked for anything broken and changed his tee, I looked at my own clothes. There were a few bloodstains on it, so I got up and went to my room. I pulled out another one of my many black graphic tees. I shut the door and I quickly changed. When I was done, Soap was done too. My stomach growled loudly. "Hehe...Wanna go grab something to eat?" I said, kinda embarrased for letting a guy hear my stomach growl.

 

"Oh, sorry. I'm not used to being around girls a lot.She had left to go change her clothes as well, and then came back in a different t-shirt, then her stomach growled and then she asked him if he wanted to grab some food. He couldn't help but let out a laugh."Yeah, sure let's get some food. Let me go wash the blood off my face and out of my mouth. What are you wanting?He said as he was walking to the bathroom to wash the blood off of him.

 

Soap asked me what I wanted.
"Hmm... Ooh, let's eat ramen! You up? I saw a ramen place in the mall. I wonder if it's good there..."

 

"Yeah, ramen sounds good."He finished wiping all the blood from his face, and out of his mouth. He wiped his face with his towel to dry it. He patted his pockets on his pants to make sure he had everything, and when he got to his back pocket, he noticed he didn't have his wallet. He walked over to his drawer and opened and there it was and he put it in is back pocket."Would have been bad if I forgot that here.He closed his drawer and started walking towards the door where she was."You ready?"

 

"Alright! Let's go!"
The two of us walked to the mall and found the ramen shop. "Irashai!" the man behind the counter called out. He wore a white long sleeve and had a gray bandana tied on his head. He also wore glasses. I ordered a shoyu ramen with extra slices of pork. "Itadakimasu!" I dug in. The ramen was really good, although the shop was close to empty. "This is really good, Owner!"
"Yes, but business has been slow lately. No one nowadays is into authentic ramen."
"Aw... they're missing out..."
