Welcome to the Velvet Room

I was in my room, messing around on my iPod. Neither of my roommates were around, so I was enjoying the peace of being alone. I took out my sketch pad and my drawing pencils from out of one of my bags. I started to sketch out a manga character. In fact, I was sketching my favorite manga character, Kokoa Shuzen. I was drawing her laying on her stomach in a wide-open area of luscious green grass. In the background I drew a great big, warm sun. There was little-to-no clouds. After what seemed to be a few minutes, two hours had gone by, and my artwork had been finished. "Mm, I am quite pleased with this picture." I then put my sketchbook and my drawing pencils back into the bag that I took them out of. I sighed. I wasn't even tired - not one bit. So I decided to take a walk outside. So I left my room, and the dorms; into the cold, dark night. I walked around for a while and thought. "If only if things were always this peaceful..." I then quietly sat down on some grass and then layed down on my back. I rested my eyes. "I guess I am rather tired..."​

"NOOO!!" I jolted up in bed. I sat there in the dark, breathing heavily. I had a horrible dream. I was in a foggy place. I couldn't see anything. Suddenly huge black blobs appeared, attacking me. They began to take the shape of everyone, all my friends. There was What?, Cookiie, Krown, Key, Wingly, Soap, and many, many others. Their eyes glowed yellow and they wielded their weapons. They all had a target locked on. It was me. Cookiie was the first who rushed at me, but then I woke up.
It was such a weird dream...

Keep in mind that at this time of year exams are coming up and if PLums is a good student, he's probably studying and such.

After the battle had finished, Fire was relieved, but then she noticed that Plums didn't seem finished yet. Or...rather...Other Plums. But...then something strange happened. It was almost as if he had faced himself. His most darkest, intense desire. How brave of him. she wondered with awe. She, too, also wanted to say something encouraging, as they had all just risked their lives to SAVE him and not KILL him, but she couldn't seem to. However, Clawtooth beat her to it anyway. When they had all warped back to the dorms, mass chaos exploded. And she had DESPERATELY wanted to take control of the situation, but again, all she could do was stand and observe. Stand and observe the stupidity and absurdity. It made her anger mount to a raging boiling point. Say something. Shout something! Everyone had decided that they'd had a day and left to their dorms. Understandable. She wanted to do the same too. But Plums was here lying on the floor. On the floor. Why? Moving on. A new girl freaked out and stormed out after being ignored for a few minutes. Again, slightly understandable. But she didn't know what everyone had just been through. She remarked about how she had been waiting for two days. Two days? Really? No way. The school wouldn't have kept her waiting for two days. If we were all gone for two days, this place should be surrounded with police enforcement and yellow tape. Fire glanced at her watch. It was late. Very late. And suddenly all the new kids decided they wanted to go out and get ice cream. One person was treating. How nice of him. But are there even any places open at this time? Oh how dumb, of course there's probably something open at this time. Even though it's probably breaking curfew. But Plums is out anyway, so I suppose it doesn't matter much. Then there was the matter of room assignments. With Plums out the new kids wouldn't be able to be assigned a room. There's probably plenty of empty rooms that haven't been used yet. Finally, Fire took one huge breath and slowly sighed. Her rage having subsided, she looked around her. Someone had taken Plums away. Oh right, it was Soap. Speaking of which he didn't look so well after the battle despite having done only one attack and talked a lot of smack. Well maybe it was the atmosphere. Who knows whether all that fog was healthy or not. She also remembered Clawtooth taking Plums' pulse. Good man. Probably very well educated and knowledgeable too. We'll definitely all discuss what happened later. Sighing again, she headed to her room. She hadn't seen Xaale in a while, but she tried to be quiet anyway as no doubt most everyone was sleeping.

 

I couldn't get back to sleep... I pulled my knees up to my chin and hugged them. Tears welled up in my eyes. I hope that that won't ever happen to me. I hope that my friends will never turn against me.

 

Squid walk back up to his room. As he open the door he heard a scream, it came from Soap's room, he dash acrossed the living room and open the door. There sat Chie in the fetal position. He turn his head side ways and asked..

"Are you ok...?"

 

The door opened. It was Cuttle. "Are you okay?" he asked. "Y-Yeah... Just... had a... bad dream..." I managed to say between sobs.

 

BIU stirred awake and said, "What's with all the noise?"

He turned his head to Soap's bed and blinked a few times.

"Soap," BIU began. "Did you get turned into a girl while I was a sleep or is this some weird Freudian dream?"

 

Saturday April 7th, 2012
Morning - Dorm

All of you feel more awake, but still feel exhausted. You can hear the speakers whir for a second. You all can hear Plums clear his throat.

"Attention, all dorm residents down to the Lounge. I wish to talk to you about the...events that occurred last night.



Plums has summoned you to the Lounge.​

 

Squid kinda stood there stun that in Soap's bed was a girl. He blinked a few times and finally said....

"You know, I thought I would ever be able to say this but here I go........ Soap finally got a girl in his bed impressive."

He look a Chie and ask her

"Why she was in Soap's bed and Soap wasn't? And i thought Wingly was suppost to be in Soap's bed...."

 

"Hehehe, good one..." BIU said but paused. "...You."

BIU heard Plums' message over the speakers. BIU then pointed at Chie.

"You, out." BIU ordered. "I need to get dressed."

 

"I'm right here," Wingly groaned as he got up from the floor.

"Someone mind telling me how I ended up on the floor? Last night is a bit of a blur." Wingly yawned and scratched his head, not wanting to know why his back was killing him.

 

"YOU MEANIE!!" I shouted at BIU, "I have a name, y'know!! And Soap let me use his bed. He slept on the couch!! Unlike you people, he's being a GENTLEMAN!!" I giggled. I can't believe I just said "gentleman". That's something What? would say... I stepped out of the room and headed to the washroom to brush my teeth.

 

BIU blinked a few times at the girl's outburst, then he turned his head as she left to Cuttlefish and said, "Who was that?"

 

"That was Chie," Wingly answered as he got up from the floor, "She got here just a while ago. A few of us got a little snack last night and went to bed. I guess you were already asleep before it all happened."
Wingly looked at the couch and noticed Soap sleeping. Now he knew why his back was killing him so much.
"Well, I certainly hope he got a nice nights rest. At least, considering what we just got an earfull of."

 

I finished brushing my teeth and fixing my hair. I went over to my bags and pulled out a new set of clothes. The usual - T-shirt and jeans... I slipped back into the bathroom and locked the door. Come on. I'm not dumb. There's guys here. I quickly changed and came out of the washroom.

 

"Kay." BIU said simply.

[insert epic dressing montage set to this 'cause I'm too lazy to write it]

BIU left his room and headed towards the dorm lobby.

"Right Plums," BIU said in a slightly irrated tone as he adjusted his fedora. "I'm here, can we get this over with so I can continue on my day?

 

I headed down to the lobby, wondering what Plums had to tell us...
I was totally lost in thought and I bumped into someone while heading down the stairs...
