The boy’s eyes flashed red as his shadow leapt from the ground. His body relaxed as a metallic being appeared behind him, the long metal claws as sharp as the boy’s glare.

He was about to run over to assist her but stopped midway as he saw the girl slowly recover herself and fire a menacing ice attack straight at the shadowy being. He chuckled to himself - what a crazily enduring young lady.

He planted his feet and readied himself for another attack, this time quite hopefully stronger.
