The 'back to top' button on the mobile version is buggy. It gets caught sometimes and at one point was covering what i was typing when I was making a new thread.

Sorry I cant provide a picture, this is on ios. Its entirely possible this is just my device and I dont plan to use mobile if at all possible but I figured I should point it out anyway just in case.

 

The bugs list has been updated with recent reports.

For people asking for a non-responsive or a fixed width version of the site: there's now an option for it (just use the style changer in the footer).

The style won't be perfect, some elements may still respond to the width of your browser and other things may look off. I won't be fixing these things for a long time because I have more important bugs to fix & pages to update. I won't pretend I'm happy about providing this version because a lot of work went into the mobile design, so don't expect it to be supported very much if at all. Fluid & responsive is the default.

This is an issue with someone's signature/where an image is hosted. I'll try to figure out who is causing it.

You can toggle the back to top button within your preferences if it isn't working for you, though I should mention that I have an iPhone and it works fine for me on there.

 

Not a bug fix perse, but something different nonetheless. Due to our diligent Code Monkey Guru @libregkd, clicking on the KH-Vids logo now does a shiny new thing. To quote him:

This isn't a techy comment or suggestion or anything cause dinny is not at all techy but I just wanted to say I'm really loving this version of khv!! I can only access the internet with my phone right now and the mobile site is super friendly and very easy to use! I can even use it just one handedly (which is all I can do right now) and it's just such a great improvement. I also really enjoy how everything looks and the back to the top button helps so much. Wonderful job, staff! Thank you so much!! C:

 

The hover background color could probably use some darkening in the style chooser.

So I cleared my data last night, and this is still an issue.

Looks like Misty made the postbit user info area width shorter than on 7.0, as names got cut off there as well. Probably won't be fixed, though.

Also, it wouldn't look so bad if you had spaces. :p[DOUBLEPOST=1387686374][/DOUBLEPOST]The lock icon overlaps with the glasses icon (used for watched threads).

If I can't replicate the problem then I can't verify it or fix it. What browser are you using?

Long usernames without spaces will forcibly break in the middle of the word. As you seem to have noticed, changing your username to include a space will help.

So I'm checking out the mobile version from work right now. It does seem a lot smoother and easier to function as stated, however, it would seem that my 'Back to Top' button doesn't appear until I've already reached the top of the page. [[ It's not a big deal to me, but I thought I'd point it out. ]] I saw that others were having issues related to the button on mobile version, but not of this nature.

I know it shows up in that header now, but depending on where you're at on the forum it gets replaced by the Watched Social Forums and Watched Forums which becomes a lot of extra work to get to it when you have to go to your settings/preferences/etc and then click on it. ]]

 

I don't know if this is from the update or not, but the video portal page isn't there anymore, this is what I keep getting when I try to access it

 

Yeah, you can't get into it by just clicking it anymore. You have to rollover and select one of the options underneath it. It's a roundabout way of getting there, but you'll still be able to find everything.

 

I really love the new design. I think it looks visually appealing and it's really easy on the eyes. I also happen to like yellow so that's not a problem imo. I've seen a few people complain but I guess everyone is different. c:

 

The Watched Threads link is to the right of Watched Forums. It's also in the Forums dropdown menu.

 

No. It's only there sometimes. The rest of the time it is replaced with the Watched Social Forums.

It's not. the Watched Threads and New Posts disappear. i would share a screen tap but I'm on my phone so i can't right now.

 

Do you see an ellipsis (...) after Watched Social Forums?

 

No amaury. there is no eclipses.

 

I was gonna say that if you did, you can click on them to see Watched Threads and New Posts. The ellipsis would happen when there's not enough room to display something on members' mobile screens.
