I believe your 'Following' imports as people that you friended first? I'm uncertain on that.

Also, it seems like once I reply to a thread, it disappears from the 'What's New' section. I am not sure if this is happening with anyone else.​

H-uh... I like the change. It's different, aesthetically pleasing, and surprisingly smooth. Granted, I'll miss the old look, but I can definitely get used to this new and interesting forum.

Rep has been replaced by "Likes"

You can see them if you go to the dropdown where your name is on the top right of the screen, or by checking your alerts.

Where is PM system?
How to change layout style (that i am used to) to one site was using as first layout (i think it was 4.0)

 

PMs are now called conversations. They look a bit different, but are still private and function the same way.

All the old skins are gone, look forwards to modified and new ones in the near future.

 

Private Messages = Conversations now

Go to Alerts and hit "Start New Conversation"

These will appear in the "View Conversations" tab in your Settings (which you can access via dropdown where your username is at the top of the screen).

Also all of the old skins are gone for now. Dunno if there are plans to bring them back as of yet, especially since the Admins are still working on a few things.

I kinda like this layout, if I'm honest. It's a bit confusing but I'm sure we all will figure it all out in a week or two. I appreciate the hard work put in the site so far! Thanks, staff.

have mixed feelings about this. overall i like it though. the layout is a huge step up, and so far it seems great for functionality, though it will take some getting used to. the main problem i have though is the terms it uses for friends, posts, etc. its too much like a typical social media website for my taste, but nothing i cant get over in time. though since ive been using vb for forever, im missing things like the usercp and whatnot. but like i said, nothing i cant get over.
