Skate 2 physics, all of it; Sherlock holmes: Nemises, Watson; Fallout: New Vegas, the floating heads; Star Ocean The Second Story on PS1, press a button between the 'battle complete' and field screens and you get BSOD; Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction: Using those claws whose name I forgot can make you go through the ground on some spots, and on the last planet you can actually get to the last boss arena, only normally acessible by going to fight said boss, by falling through.
My favorite glitch I've hit was in the original Assassin's Creed. I was diving through a market stall but the animation somehow got interrupted so I was stuck inside. I messed around with pretending he was a mime for like 15 minutes before resetting the game. And not a wierd glitch, but one I like to mention when the discussion of glitches is brought up. In Darksiders, I was revisiting the Black Throne to collect some stuff that I missed. I was riding one of the huge elevators up when I fell through, hit the ground level, and the game autosaved. From then onward on that file that wing of the dungeon with all of its remaining loot was completely inaccessible.
Jak X: Fell through the floor of the map and was teleported to the finish line Superman 64: So many to choose from. I guess the pool room's reflection in stage 4.
I saw one on Angry Video Game Nerd all about glitches. But I do remember one where I walked into a store at Fallout 3 and fell through the floor into a swamp-like area. Does anyone remember missing no. from the original pokemon series? Or is that a glitch more than a bug?
Ehh I wouldn't consider it weird anymore. Maybe 10 years ago, it would've, but it's too well known now.
I recall an instance in Fallout 3 when my friend was playing. He went into VATS and scored a critical hit on a bandit head, whereupon the bandit's arms extended to about 20ft, started flailing around like snakes, and propelled him through the wasteland on glorious adventures. We followed him for about half an hour before we lost interest (aka anymore laughter would have been physically dangerous). As far as I know he's still out there, flailing about. Somewhere.
