We were shopping today...

And we went to a book store for some mice. (I was simply shocked to find that they were all out.) But anyway, we saw a stack of older books that were 5 dollars each. Above the books was a large red sign that read:

2 for $10

With a little crackhead or something next to it who had a speech bubble saying "What a DEAL!!!". Keep in mind that the price for 1 is $5.

Now I can understand the books are cheap, but that's just phail. Like come on, anyone with half a brain could see they were trying to trick you into buying books, thinking they're a 2 for the price of 1 kind of deal, when really it's more like:

BUY ONE, BUY ANOTHER...SRSLY​

Or...

BUY 2, READ ONE FREE​

Or...

GET 2 FOR THE PRICE OF 1 x 3​

And probably the worst one...

BUY ONE, GET HALF​

And then they pretend "Oh, the Sign was ripped", and they tear a little corner off.

...there's no punch line to this. I'm just angry and pissed. How can you storeowners sleep at night, knowing your trick hundreds of people daily into buying things when they don't need or care? You all sicken me, but then again, why the **** was I shopping for mice in a book store? That's it, from now on, I'm shopping at Grocery Stores.
