A guy named Benjamin Mee (Matt Damon) who has two kids -- a 7-year-old daughter and a (disturbed) 14-year-old son -- and are looking for a home that doesn't trigger memories of his late wife Katherine. They find that home; it just happens to include a zoo. Benjamin and his kids work at the zoo and come to love the employees as family.

This movie has spectacular casting, acting, and directing. I actually think that this is the best movie I've seen Matt Damon in since the Bourne Trilogy. There was only one thing that bothered me throughout the whole movie.

    The title.

A movie with such a great moral/message could use a stronger name. Something like... Human Interaction. (If any of you saw the movie, you'll get the joke.)

I saw this in theaters some time around New Years. I didn't even want to go see it, but surprisingly the movie turned out pretty well and had a moving story. It is quite strange to see Matt Damon as more of a family man but he fit the role rather well. The whole thing with his wife was pretty sad too.

I agree. Came into it totally expecting meh, but I was fortunately surprised by some excellent acting moments, mainly from Matt Damon, his son, and Scarlett Johansen. A little predictable at points, but my favorite moments were the father-son fights that felt really real and heart-felt, and when Matt Damon is getting over his wife's death.

And I get the joke...ha ha ha. How bout: "3 Seconds of Blind Courage"? Such a great message I think.

The film was OK (it would've been better if my little cousin didn't keep constantly asking questions during the movie and my mom and aunt not bothering to stop it).
    But I liked it.

I really wanted to go see this but never got the chance because I didn't have anybody to go with. I'm going to get it when it comes out on dvd though so I can finally watch it.

I really did not want to see this, but in the end I actually really enjoyed it. Plus Dylan's art in it was amazing, disturbing but amazing. I also felt so bad for him what with all the pain depression can cause. And he was really cute in a Son of Hades way.

This movie looks pretty cute and a great set of actors. I might watch it if I happen to find it or something, but I probably won't go out of my way to see it.

This was a very cute movie. I will admit I was dragged to go and see it but I actually enjoyed it a bit. Was kind of irritated at the message the movie brought but I was satisfied with the comedy.

Irritated at the message the movie brought? How so? And just to clarify, what did you think was the message?

I actually really liked this movie. It was really sweet, and it made me love the things I have now, before they slip away. To take an adventure, even though he had been on so many before, he wanted to do this one with his family.
