Sorry it's just where I live, people don't like white people saying that word since they see is as an insult to black people, but it alright for them to say it, because it doesn't sound insulting... But that's only where I live.

That's incredibly biased. The word is everywhere and just because in your area it isn't used but by black people, in other areas it is. Just my two-cents but if only one group of people can use it because they have a skin color to validate it, that's just lame. Not that I bother using the word much but really, '*****' and the other word aren't even the same meaning now. I get called a ***** and could care less.
