War of the cartoons : DUODECIMA CRYSTALES

A young blond girl was standing in the middle of the street. Noone seemed to notice her.

"Help.......it's......s..." A tear fell on the cold street. The girl was crying. But again, noone noticed.

 

"Weak rookies?"He said parking Behemoth(the motorcycle.)

 

Robin heard sobbing nearby...breaking the odd silence. He glanced over to the dirrection of the noise, ready for action, but found a blonde haired girl crying in the middle of the street. Alarmed, he rushed over to her. "What do you need help with?"

(OOC: Cheesy... -.-)

 

Linali froze for the briefest of milliseconds, then threw herself backward, activating the Dark Boots and hovering at eye level with the white-hooded stranger. "Skeptical?" she repeated warily. "Skeptical of what, good sir?"

She remained prepared to lunge forward at the slightest hint of hostile action from the hooded man, wishing that Allen were there with her; his eye would have been able to instantly tell whether the person facing her was human or demon.

 

A tokomon who was sitting nearby looked at the motorcycle.
" Wow, is this... is.. this yours?" said the poromon who was sitting next to tokomon.

The girl didn't looked at him. She continued crying for awhile and then she said:
"It's....th....."
The girl closed her eyes. Suddenly everything dissapeard. The young girl and Robin were surrounded by darkness.

"Don't even bother. I know all of your powers. Your powers are useless against me. Besides, i'm not here to hurt you."

 

"Somehow I doubt that," Linali muttered under her breath. She raised an slim black eyebrow questioningly. "If you're not here to fight, what do you want from me?" Despite his words, she remained ready to attack. "Are you with the Millenium Earl?"

OOC: The Millenium Earl; main villian of the series... ignore him, he doesn't enter into this; I just needed something in-character for her to say.

 

"What are you guys fighting about?" asked L. "I wanna fight too."

 

"Do not even compare me to this pathetic fool..." said the man ironically.
The man came towards Linali.

 

OOC: rat, you're supposed to start off in your own world... you're nowhere near me at this point.

Linali floated backwards warily. "More powerful... than the Earl?" flashed disbelievingly through her mind. "This stranger could prove to be a powerful ally against him..." She paused and allowed the man to approach. "Tell me your name," she demanded. A slight edge of fear cracked her voice, raising the last word to an almost-squeak. Fear radiated off the stranger to envelop her like a cloak, which she roughly tried to shake off.

 

The man stopped.
"You're afraid of me.....i can see it in your soul..." said the man and then he landed on the floor. "You shouldn't...."
Suddenly a deafening noise heard from the street. People were screaming on the streets but the man didn't seem to be bothered at all.

 

Linali looked around wildly; none of the Italians running by seemed to pay any heed to the two people seemingly standing in midair. "What's going on?" she cried.

 

"Soon you'll understand more things" said the man and then he vanished into something that seemed like a dark portal.
People were screaming and running terrified. A man shouted at Linali "Run for your life".
All of a sudden, the ground start shaking.

 

Linali was torn between staying in an attempt to help the people, and leaping into the portal behind the mysterious white-cloaked stranger. Realizing there was nothing she could do, she deactivated her Dark Boots and slammed to the ground with more force than she had anticipated, stumbling a bit from the shockwaves rippling through the earth. She closed her eyes and dove into the portal.

 

"It's not the time...." someone whispered.
Linali found herself, for a few moments, in a dark place. Nothing was there. Only she was there.
Suddenly the woman found herself being again in her last positon.
"Run for your life" shouted the man, that Linali saw before. But now there was no portal.
"Grooooooooooooooooaaahhrrrrrrrrr"
It was a huge monster a few meters behind Linali. It seemed like a winged werewolf with chains in its body. The monster start destroying everything in its path.

 

Linali shrieked and activated the Dark Boots. The portal was gone; she didn't give it another thought as the werewolf snarled. A sudden grin crossed her face. Cloaked strangers and portals may terrify her, but monsters were something she was all too familiar with. She flew up into the air and whipped her right foot around, slashing a deep wound across the canine's face.

The creature roared in pain and surprise, reflexively backing away from the female. Blood splattered in drips to the ground; a sizzling sound arose, and the cobblestones below began to smoke. One baleful yellow-gold eye fixed on her own onyx orbs, and then it lunged, wings straining to pull the massive monster into the air to get to her level.

Linali flitted around the werewolf's head, easily avoiding its snapping jaws and lashing out with her feet. A tendon snapped in one of its wings, and as it collapsed to the ground its roars were more pained than ferocious. Linali showed no mercy and swept the off-balance creature's feet off the ground. With a crack, its ankle gave way, and the werewolf thudded to the ground, yowling. Its impact shattered several cobblestones and shook the very ground.

Agonized growls emminated from the fallen creature, and Linali almost felt sorry for it. Its claws scrabbled weakly against the street in an effort to bring itself up, and its yellow-gold eyes glared at her with an evil malice. "My apologies," she told the werewolf, black eyes softening. "But your time ends now." She turned her hip and snapped a kick into the canine's head, the strength lended to her by the Innocence running through her Boots crushed its skull.

With a final, pathetic whimper, the massive werewolf laid still at last.

 

Boss Battle

The werewolf stood there, dead as it seemed. Now there was silence all over the place. People stopped screaming and running teriffied. The battle seemed to be over.

Suddenly the monster start shaking. Then it's body was covered by darkness. It seemed like something terrible would happen. The dark mass floated in the air for awhile and then the place was covered by darkness.

Now Linali found herself standing on clouds! The woman couldn't believe it. She was standing on clouds. She tried to make a move but she was afraid of falling.

Then, something came violently out of the clouds. It was moving so fast, that the woman couldn't see what was that thing.

A few moments later, the mysterious creature appeared in front of her. It seemed like a gigantic human, though its face was like a wolf. Its body was black and it had chains in its wrists.

Boss Battle

The creature raised its left hand and then dark energy spheres start falling violently from the sky.

Linali had to fight, though she was afraid of falling.

"It's now or never" said the woman and start avoiding as fast as she could the energy spheres.

 

OOC: I'm sorry, was the werewolf you? Was I not supposed to kill you in one post? I apologize! *poke* But please don't god-mode me... Btw, my avatar is now my character, in case you were wondering.

Linali was frozen by terror, but only for a moment. "It's now or never," she murmured, activating the Dark Boots and hovering in the air, facing what seemed to be a creature of purest darkness. With a battle cry, she flew forward and kicked out, boots carving a deep line across the creature's face. She alighted on another cloud and turned to survey her handiwork.

 

The creature stopped for awhile. It looked for a moment at the woman. Then with a quick move it punched Linali sending her some meters away.

 

Linali screamed as she flew back until she was able to arrest her flight. High above where she drifted, a report of thunder burst around her, the prelude to an immense storm. She tossed her hair over her shoulder and fixed her onyx eyes upon the creature of darkness. A sudden explosion of lightning cast her face into sharp relief as a single line of blood trickled down from her eyebrow; the blow had split the skin.

The clouds roiled around the two combatants, an outward expression of vengence. Linali let out a small laugh, then shot forward to attack once again. She moved as if to attack the monster's face again, then ducked low beneath it's clawed swipe and delievered a powerful side-kick to the creature's ankles, knocking it from its cloudy perch.

OOC: I keep hearing the Sephiroth music in my head, lol!

 

The monster fell on the clouds making the place shaking. But as quick as it fell, that quick stood up and hit Linali with the chains from it's left arm.

The monster seemed to get a reall pleasure when it hited the woman.
