meet you. A soldier walked up to Hark and whispered in his ear. Mhmm. I see. Sorry Leyna. The front needs me. We'll meet again. He spread his wings and flew off.

Mya came out with a head bandage. Nya. Hello Leyna. Where's Hark?

 

Hawkins spread out his wings, and he slowly glided to the ground not too far away from Leyna, "that wasn't too bad, was it?" he asked Jen.

Jenifer was just shaking, "I-I'm n-never doing that again!"

 

Mya's ear twitched as she heard something land in the forest. Leyna, I'll be right back. She headed into he woods where Hawkins and Jen landed.

 

Jenifer jupmed up, her ears perked up, and her tail frozen in place, "there's someone coming," she whispered to Nick.

Nick spread his hawins wings, and grabbed her, and flew them both into a tree.

 

Mya looked around where Nick and Jen were and made a long
meow. I could've sworn I heard someone here. She looked at the trees then back at the ground. She sighed. Probably soldiers looking for us. Their closer than I thought. She sat down next to a tree.

 

Jenifer crept out along the branch, using her cat reflexes to reman both balanced and silent on the tree's branch.

Nick watched from his perch, wondering what she was about to do.

 

Mya started to hum a tune and stop in the middle of it. Inprobably should tell Hark to evacuate this site. If they find us we're screwed-oh wait he's gone.She sighed.

"In that case, me and my men will leave at sunrise tomorrow, and we'll have whatever ruined our munitions bagged and preferably skinned by sundown tomorrow, or sunrise the next day at the latest." She saluted him, then walked out of the tent to announce this to her men. As she walked through the encampment, she noticed Pvt. Everett still working on the jeep. "Everett!"

Gears was startled by St. James' sudden cry, and ended up hitting his head on the hood of the car. "Ow! Yes, ma'am?"

"We leave at dawn tomorrow. Have the repairs finished by them, even if you have to stay up all night."

Gears sighed. "Yes, ma'am. Loud and clear, ma'am," he said, giving a weak salute. Looked like he wouldn't be getting any sleep tonight.

 

He watched James talkto Gears. Let's hope they do their job right. We lost too many casualties in this war. I don't even know who's winning anymore.

Jen smiled, then suddenly jumped out of the tree, and landed lightly next to Mya.
