War for Sori

Mya shook her head. I don't know what they were looking for. They were looking for some "special power" within all Soris. Unfortunately, they were wrong. She searched around the desk.

 

"But why would they? It just seems a little off in my book."

 

"They must want to use it to their own advantage" Leyna said, thinking about it.

 

Mya sighed. I really don't know anymore. She sat on the desk and accidentally popped on the case, releasing a piece of paper. Hey what's this? She picked it up and examined it.

 

"Huh. Mabey that might shed some light on the situation, whats it say?"

 

"Yeah, what is it?" Leyna asked, curious.

 

Mya began reading it. Years of research and years of failed specimens and projects can only lead to a solution. And we have found it. In fact, only one can wield this unimaginable power. It is said, back then, only one person from a long line of history can hold it. Set 17 years ago, a mother gave birth to a child and was the next one to carry her mother's name out. She is described as- She stopped there and dropped the paper.

 

Rita cocked her head "W-Whats the matter?"

 

Leyna looked at Mya, worried, "Mya? What does it say?"

 

Mya held her head. No no no no. This can't be true! The mere coincidence is impossible to match up! She was so worried, she didn't notice Leyna and Rita.

 

Leyna frowned and walked over to Mya, "Mya! Listen to me, everything'll be okay but what does it say?"

 

"MYA!" Rita yelled. She walked over to her and clicked her fingers in front of Mya's face in an attempt to bring her back to earth. "Whats wrong?. Tell us?!"

 

She snapped back and looked back at them. I-I can't understand. They were talking about a child born 17 years ago to carry on the name. The child was names Mya. It can't be me!

 

"Are you certain thats what it says?"

 

I-I'm certain. But how could it be me? I can't carry on a name that means so much to the humans! She held her head.

 

"Hey, why are you so upset? If it is you then you can wield a weapon that can end this war once and for all. That's a bad thing?" Leyna asked.

 

Mya looked up. I don't even know anything about great power. Maybe thats why they didn't kill us at Redfog. They needed me alive. What if they tried to do whatever they can to take me in?

 

"It would be extremely bad if the humans got their hands on it, We will have to be more careful."

 

Hark ran into the lab. Mya, extraction is ready. We gotta go.

Mya looked up. Oh yea. I'll be there...in a sec.

Hark nodded and left the room.

 

"Listen, I know this is big but fist we've got to deal with this before we even consider what we do about this, okay? We need you Mya, we can't do this without you" Leyna spoke directly to Mya.
