Mya fired more shots at them. They probably won't since this is only a base camp and the nearest military base is miles away.

 

"I hope you're right, I really do" Leyna said looking straight at Mya, worried about all her friends.

 

"As you wish," Sinder said as she bowed slightly.

The bird-girl unraveled her wings and with a single beat, flew towards the flying unit.

Soldiers fired at her but she easily evaded their attacks.

Her bullets left no survivor behind.

 

Rita flew over to Mya. "What about me?" She asked, bobbing up and down.

 

She examined the sky. Fire something big and bright in the sky. We need to make their landing easy as possible.

 

Rita nodded and Began Chanting a Replicate spell.
Once finished She pointed up to the sky and uttered a few more words. A bright ball of light appeared over head. It resembled the sun, Apart from it being Smaller and colder, it looked exactly the same.
"Big enough?" She asked Mya

 

Mya smiled. That's perfect. Thanks.

Hark noticed the bright object. Alright. That's our signal. Move in!

 

Rita nodded and landed gently on the ground next to Mya. "Anything else?" She asked, pumped at the thought of battling.

 

Sinder saw Hark and the others.

"Guys over here!" she yelled as she approached.

"I'm supposed to be your cover.

Stay close and hope we all make it out alive!"

 

Hark nodded and followed Sinder.

Mya shook her head. You did well. All we have to do now is wait.

 

The bird-girl led Hark and the others to Mya and the group that she had with her.

Soldiers' worthless attempts to shoot her out of the sky were useless.

It was strange. This killing wasn't hard for her.

This time she enjoyed it.

She enjoyed killing the humans.

As blood spilt from their heads a smirk crossed her face.

But she wasn't her normal self at the moment.

Something deep inside of her made her feel happy to kill the humans.

 

Hark flew down to Mya. Good job.

Mya smiled. Thanks. We should try grabbing what we can here.

 

Sinder landed a little ways from the others.

Normally she would be wanting to help with what came next.

But this time was different.

She felt different on the inside.

Leyna looked at Mya, "Right, what's next?" She wanted to help and pull her weight in the group, putting aside her dislike of war.

 

Mya looked around. Well, I think we can- She saw a tiled wall and frowned. What's that? She walked up to it and examined it.

 

Leyna frowned looking at the wall, "I don't know, but it seems out of place, be careful"

 

Sinder looked at them.

"I suggest you guys don't touch that.

Who knows what'll happen if you do.

I highly advise that you guys leave it alone."

 

Leyna nodded, "Yeah, I don't know what it is but something's odd about it" She shook her head, keeping an eye on the strange wall.

 

Sinder heard something.

It was in the direction of the wall.

"You guys get back!" she yelled to them.

"I heard something strange."
