War for Sori

Mya sat down on a rock. Something still bothered me. At the trap back there, they didn't use real bullets until we attacked back. It's like they really didn't want to kill us for some reason.

 

"Please tell me Rita," Sinder insisted. She needed to know.

 

Leyna gave Rita a worried look, "It's clearly not nothing. We're all friends here, maybe we can help."

 

OOC: Aww total ignorance right there sad face :(

 

"They probably wanted to capture one or some of us so they could get information about us like autopsies and questioning of where the camps are," Sinder suggested. She was almost 100% sure about the second reason that she gave.

"Fine Rita, but if you need someone I will always be here for you."

 

"NO!" She snapped. She looked them. "Sorry, id rather not talk about it" She sighed.

 

Sinder looked down at the ground. If Rita felt like she did why didn't she want to talk about her thoughts and feelings? They were all friends here.

 

Rita looked at Sinder. "I-its just..something that happened when i was younger that still pains me dearly"

 

"At least you had a childhood," Sinder mumbled. Ever since the humans and her kind started fighting when she was around 3 years old she had lived in fear and had to hide all the time.

 

She shook her head. "I never had a normal childhood like most humans. I had a rough time with anything and everything, especially when....." The words caught in her throat.

 

"Well you're talking about it, better just let it out now," Sinder said to her.

 

"What? My family were killed by humans when I was a child, so maybe I can understand" Leyna said, though her voice shook slightly as she said it and she wiped her eyes before smiling supportivly at Rita.

 

"When i was around the age of 5, i was practicing my Magic in the woods when suddenly, An injured little Sori collapsed at my feet, I picked him up and realised he was being chased by a mob of people so i hid him from them. After all his wounds were healed he decided to stay with me for a little while longer just untill he knew his exact location, but one day, Knights came round our house and killed him, I was stabbed and Banished from Civilisation." She took off her Locket that she wore and opened it up, There was a picture inside of it, She showed it to them.

 

"That is not good," Sinder said, "I have not known humans to kill Sori children. I am sorry for what happened Rita. But this is a war and no one can be saved that can be included in it."

 

Leyna shook her head, "That's awful. We do not go and kill their young. It shows how heartless they are. Children should be kept out of war."

 

Rita sighed. "Yes, your're right" She said to Leyna and Sinder

 

Demetrio finally felt like he wasn't in too much pain to move he stood up pain went through him "i'm not going to let this stop me." he got another painkilling syringe and injected himself. he sighed at the soothing relief that washed over him "finally I can move again." He walked over to the others and he said to Mya "I'm sorry for not helping you Mya what happened to you and Sinder was my fault..... forgive me."

OOC: I think Demetrio has a small drug problem either that or he just doesnt like to wait to heal.

 

Mya smiled and shook her head. It's alright. You had to protect yourself too.

 

Nick and Jen came in, "we need to stop the humans before there are too many more casulties," Nick said.

Jen nodded, "and I have a plan that will cripple the human's military machine," she said.

 

Mya closed her eyes and thought for a bit. We can't barge in just yet. They own a city called Hellvin. We can corrupt military rule there and release some Sori prisoners.
