War for Sori

"Oh, I wonder what that could mean." Leyna said, though the mention of wings made her miss her own, it felt wrong to be without them. "Well, I'm sure we'll figure it out together in due time and stop this plague. Mya might be the only one who can stop it but she's certainly not alone, we'll be with her to help every step of the way." She smiled, forgetting for a second that she was supposed to be Rita. "Thanks for sharing though."

Liv looked suspiciously at Rita, she seemed to be very nice today, something seemed off but what it was, she couldn't quite place her finger on. She considered doing a little looking in her mind to figure it out but that went against most of her ideas of privacy. Instead she simple asked, "Are you alright today, Rita?" before turning back to Sasha. She was glad Sasha had told them this, though she wouldn't be suprised if there was more she was hiding. She wasn't going to worry about that for now though, "So, what's our next move going to be? How are we going to go about stopping this plague?"

 

Sasha gave a look at Grey which he nodded before she turned back to the rest of them. Well there's a problem. At this point, once Mya wakes up, she will have lost her memories. It's not permanent, but we need to keep her safe before she regains her memories. At this point, we can't mention anything about her prophecy or anything related. It could give her a shock. Grey mentioned it was necessary for her to lose her memories temporarily.

 

Sinder and Zerci had woken up a bit ago, feeling recharged.

They held hands while strolling through the corridors and grew bored of their Sori form.

"It's your call this time babe."

Sinder stood and thought for a moment.

"Well we like gargoyles," she smiled.

"Ooh I like."

They both used their magic to change their form into 6ft gargoyles.

Sinder had her trademark purple eyes and Zerci had her trademark blue eyes.

"I like your natural green eyes babe, how come you don't leave them natural anymore?"

"Well it has been a while, and I do like my natural eye color," Sinder said as her eyes reverted to their natural color; a mix of hazel and a little grey.

"What about your gorgeous eyes love?" she tickled Zerci's sides a little.

"Theyre brown baby there's nothing exciting about that."

"I still love them, and you look downright gorgeous," she rubbed her cheek on her lover's cheek.

Zerci blushed and smiled real big and toothy.

"You really think so?"

"I always have love."

Zerci let the magic off her eyes and they turned a darkish brown.

"I love you baby."

"And I love you."

They heard the others' voices and peeked around the corner.

OOC: *Slowly creeps back into the dark corner of the room*

BIC: A wave of relief passed through Rita's body and soul as Hark seemed to let his suspicions drop for the moment, allowing her to gather her thoughts briefly to form the most dazzling smile she could manage. In her mind however, the mental smile she had envisioned slowly drooped into a frown. She didn't know how much longer she could keep this up, being in someone else's shoes was not as easy as she had thought. The change she had to make to her responses and body language was tiring her out, not to mention having to control a completely different body. Regardless, she had to try her best for now. It would be entirely too awkward for the truth to come out now, especially since Hark might feel awful about being affectionate towards her instead of Leyna.

That's what she thought anyway, and her mind lingered on the matter for a bit since it was there. She thought of all the possible future scenarios that might take place if such a thing were to take place, how Leyna might shun her for technically flirting with her boyfriend, how everyone else may resent her for this accidental happening, how she would be more lonely than ever...

Liv's voice snapped her back into reality as she called out her name, commenting on how nice she was acting...or rather, Leyna was acting. Inside, the comment stung her. She knew Liv probably didn't mean it to be hurtful, but if they knew what she had been through, they might understand the reasoning behind her coldness. Without thinking, she reached out and began to protest, "Hey, what do you-" The rest of the sentence trailed off as she quickly killed the words off in her throat, her eyes wide with the realisation of what she had just done.

 

OOC: no don't close the thread I'm sorry my life has been hectic but now i have put it behind me

BIC: Demetrio walked over towards a corner of the room hey it looks like we need to move on as much as i like drama but we must move along i really don't believe we have to sit and do nothing

 

Sinder noticed something strage about two of the girls in the group in front of them

"Their auras aren't right, do you see?

"Yes, it seems like they have switched bodies.

Must be a contraption that crazy scientist made.

"I feel really weak love.

I don't know if its something in this place but I feel like it's hard to move.

Zerci took Sinder's hand and felt the weakness.

"You may still be recovering from earlier babe.

Change back."

They both changed back to their Sori forms and Zerci held and rubbed her lover's hand.

Sinder stroked back in return and closed her eyes.

BIC: Sasha sighed. We can't just move along. She's in her most vulnerable position right now. If we move, she has a high possibility that she could die. Nor does she have the memory to know. Remember, her memory is temporarily wiped out.

 

tch aghh i hate having this painful wait its bad enough that the first person i loved in years cant remember who i am but now we're stuck in this damn lab Demetrio's temper was flaring his mind was clouded so he didn't notice the fact his hands had caught flames

 

Karol let all this info digest as he listened in intently from around the corner. It was a lot to take in, not to mention a lot of it was slightly confusing like the prophecy plus there was the fact that both Leyna and Rita were acting quite strangely, but he decided he could enquire into that later. "So...should we expect any action from the enemy?" He asked, slowly getting off of the bed, trying not himself in case there was any internal damage that hadn't healed. "We might be able to hold them off for a while if they do manage to discover our location...but with only 9 of us able to fight...we won't last long against their troops. Especially if he's there..." His voice trailed off as he ended the sentence, his hand automatically reaching for his stomach, which ached with pain.

 

Liv felt twang of guilt as it was mentioned that Mya won't be able to remember anyone, she should of really shared that information. Due to this despite being happy Sasha was actually letting them in on what was happening. She went quiet, though she still listened carefully to them all. That was at least until Karol spoke up and mentioned him. Her eyes narrowed. "If he's there then I'm going to make him wish he had never been born. He is never going to hurt you or anyone else ever again. I'll reduce him to nothing more than a vegetable." She spoke uncharacteristically and didn't know if she could possibly live up to her words but he had hurt Karol. She was not going through that again. She would make him pay for what he did and make sure Karol never got hurt like that again. Hell has no fury like a women's wrath and this little lady had a score to settle. "There may few of us in number but we are not weak. They're going to have to get a lot more men before they can equal our combined power"

Liv's question to Leyna threw her. She knew they were starting suspect something was up with both her in Rita's body and Rita in her's. She nodded but went quiet, not quite sure what to do. And when Rita responded to Liv as well, she glanced at her friend. She knew they could not keep this act up for much longer. She sent Rita a questioning glance as if to ask her if they should tell the others of their little prediciment.

 

OOC: *Stabs MS with semi rusty pillows*

BIC: Sasha nodded. It's best if we stay here and keep a low profile. Now to-
Before she could continue, Mya stirred in her sleep and rubbed her eyes. Sasha turned back to the others giving a look that says, "Let me do the talking." She turned to Mya. How are you feeling Mya?

She yawned and opened her eyes, which were dull and grey, not the purple, full of life eyes. Very sleepy. But who might you be? Sasha hesitated a bit before answering. M-my name is Lyra. The people behind me are my helpers. Mya nodded and looked around. I see...but where's my mom and dad?
Well...they went off to a...business trip meeting. Mya nodded again and yawned. I'll go to sleep again. Is that fine? Sasha nodded and as Mya fell asleep, she turned to the others. You can talk to her, but do NOT tell her anything about your real identities or past events. It will give her a mental shock and possibly put her into a permanent coma. Understand me?

 

Liv watched in amazement as Sasha transformed to talk to Mya and just shook her head. "I hope she'll forgive us for lying to her. It feels bad to do that but I guess it's for the best." She sighed, "Should we sort out a story about who we are as well so we don't contradict eachother. As much as I hate this, if we say alsorts of lies it'll just confuse her more." She tried to think about this rationally but she couldn't halp feeling guilty.

Leyna nodded, "Yeah, I see what you mean. Hmm, so not to frighten her do you think I should hide my wi-" She cut of rapidly as she realised what she was saying. She was in Rita's body and she'd might as well have just shouted it out what was going on. It was a bit late too correct herself now. She glanced at Rita in her body apoligetically, her cheeks burning up. She couldn't believe she'd just done that though she guessed they'd find out eventually anyway.

 

Rita gave a nervous laugh as she heard what Leyna had said, scratching the back of her head awkwardly, trying to decide whether to change the subject or just let the truth out. Uneasily, she spoke up, "Well...I guess we couldn't keep it up for much longer...do you want to tell them or should I?" She could feel her whole face turning as red as a beetroot as things played out. She just hoped that the truth wouldn't stir up problems with Hark and Leyna after he had unknowlingly flirted with her.

"Tell us? Tell us what?" Karol, his eyes wide with surprise at what Rita and Leyna had both just said, asked with a sense of confusion in his voice, "What's going on?"

 

Liv looked between Leyna and Rita, she'd noticed something was up before as they were acting strange. Although she hadn't been able to figure out exactly what. Now with those last few comments, she had a suspition about what was going on. However, she wasn't certain and she waited quietly for them to reveal all. If she was right, this was very strange.

Leyna was giving Rita a run for her money with how red her cheeks were, she was looking down and fiddling with the hem of Rita's clothes. "Um, well, I guess we could do it together." She took a deep breath before looking up at everyone. "Well up the thing is guys..." The words were reluctant to come out of her mouth. "We kinda went exploring earlier and we may have possibly come across one of Ulysses's strange contraptions and..." She glanced at Rita for help.
