OOC: sorry for being gone so long was very busy

BIC: Demetrio walked out of the room upset dammit he punched the wall i thought it was over but now it seems like we just started

 

Rita's eyes lit up as she heard what Leyna said. "Karol? Oh my god...we have to get over there!" She sounded frantic, which was quite strange in Leyna's voice, but the sense of worry and anticipation could still be heard clearly. Heart racing, she began to pick up her pace until it turned from a walk to a run, tripping over herself now and again as she was still not used to Leyna's body. Just then, however, she heard an then saw the being that would cause much complication, Hark. She stopped in her tracks quickly and raised an arm in front of Leyna to stop her too. Taking a sharp, but quiet breath, she moved behind Leyna to keep herself out of sight, shaking nervously. "Wh-what the hell am I supposed to say to him?!" Her frowned as he moved more into sight, racking her brains desperately to come up with something that was at least somewhat believable.

Tears rolled down Karol's cheeks as Liv embraced him, maybe more from the pain she was giving him by squeezing him so tightly than it was emotion, but he decided it was the latter. "I love you too." He squeezed her softly and gave her a small kiss to show it, brushing her hair slightly in affection. "I...I'm really sorry I worried you...I was just really riled up and I couldn't stop myself..."

 

OOC: Not to be rude, but can you guys try to speed up a bit? We haven't progressed much on the story.

 

Sinder and Zerci got up and headed toward the metal door of the laboratory.

"Ready babe?"

"As ready as I'll ever be.

This silly little war has to end."

They took each other's hand and made their way into the facility.

The two saw a distressed man in the facility.

What troubles you young one? Sinder mentally asked the professor, looking at him.

 

OOC: Updated/revamped Leyna's OC form on my first post and made Liv's form.

Leyna walked fast to keep up with Rita then was suprised when she suddenly disappeared behind her as Hark appeared. "Wha...oh." She frowned though at what she thought she'd just heard him say. She didn't like the idea of him holding her back and stopping her doing stuff even if he was doing it to protect her. She wasn't a child and he didn't own her, she was more than capable of taking care of herself. She loved him and everything but if he tried to do that then she would have none of it. "Say whatever. You're clever, you'll think of something" She said, she'd normally be more helpful but that had annoyed her.

Liv slowly came out of their embrace, held him by the shoulders and looked him in the eye, smiling. "Don't apologise, you have nothing to apologise for. You're okay now and that's all that matters. I'm not going to let you get hurt like that again. As much for my health as yours." She added with a grin. She could see he'd been crying and she put her hand up and wiped his eyes one at a time gentley. "Oh, and you'll be glad to know we dealt with the traitor so he won't be hurting us again."

 

Demetrio finally walked to where the bulk of the group was so where are we headed next?

 

Liv sighed, hearing Demetrio and forced herself to look away from Karol for a moment to look at them, "There's something I need to tell you before you decide that. It may be important." She said before looking back at Karol. She was annoyed, she still didn't trust Grey completely but it had been left to her to tell the others about it. She still didn't get why he couldn't tell them himself. If it was a trap now it was going to fall on her head but if she didn't show them and it turned out to be important, well it could be worse. And then this was interuppting her time with Karol. She didn't want to show Karol her annoyance but she definately wasn't Grey's biggest fan right now. She smiled at Karol, hoping this wouldn't ruin their moment or worry him.

 

Rita gulped and took a few deep breaths to calm herself down. "Right...right..." She took a shaky step out into view and moved towards the area Karol was in, trying to act as naturally as possible as she came close to Hark. "Right...it'll be fine...just act natural...and hope he doesn't say anything smushy or cheesy...otherwise you are totally screwed.." Her inner voice scolded her, pushing her nervous thoughts back to the depth of her mind.

Karol gave her a grave look as she mentioned Jade, the very thought of his name made his chest ache in memory of his wounds. "I wouldn't be too sure about that, they never seem to give up." He turned his frown back into a smile again as the thoughts vanished from his mind, "But I'm happy...to know you weren't hurt." He clutched her hand softly as she wiped away stray tears from under his eyes. He frowned returned slightly again as Liv turned and spoke to Demetrio about something, curious to know what had been happening since he was out cold. "Something...important?"

 

Hark sighed in relief as he aww Leyna and gave her a hug. There you were! You worried me, my love. Don't go wandering off like that again.

 

'My Love?' Leyna didn't know if it was because she was in Rita's body or what it was but for some reason Hark was really annoying her. He didn't own her, and she was capable of looking after herself. It was probably a good thing she was in Rita's body as that was the only thing stopping her from doing something she'd probably regret later. As it was she just glared and simmered in the background.

Liv sighed, that was their moment well and truely ruined. "Grey talked to me earlier. He said I should give you this prophecy and tell you we should move south to one of his bases. You read it. I don't know if we should trust him or not but if it's genuine, it could be important. I'll be there whatever you choose, just be careful." She handed Sasha the scroll with reservations. She didn't want the responsibility of deciding and she didn't want to let her own personal feeling's interfere with what was best for the group and this war. She looked down regretfully, "I'm sorry" She whispered to Karol.

 

"My love? What is this. Romeo and Juliet?!" Rita muttered in the back of her mind as Hark spoke, however that was short lived as she completely froze when he came up and embraced her, causing her face to turn as pale as a ghost. "I won't...s-sorry." She looked away quickly to take a deep breath to calm herself down, wondering if Hark was suspicious at all at the way she was acting. She was really quite dumbfounded, she thought she might at least be able to control her nerves slightly, however having never experienced any man coming up to her and hugging her like that, she just froze up, not to mention that being in Leyna's body made it feel all the more wrong.

Karol smiled at Liv and gently began stroking her hand. "It's alright, don't worry about it." He sighed and looked out into the corridor where the others were, noticing Hark and Leyna hugging eachother right at the centre...though he thought it strange how Leyna was reacting to it, considering she wasn't one to show her negative emotions towards someone she cares about so freely and openly. He frowned slightly before returning his attention back to Liv and ended up instantlyputting the thought of Leyna and Hark way at the back his mind as he gazed back into her pretty eyes. "So..are you alright? Not hurt or anything?"

 

Leyna remained quiet as she watched her friend try to be her. It felt wierd to watch this from a distance, like was the back of her hair really that messy? To her she could tell it wasn't her quite obviously but how much of that was because she already knew. She wondered if the others would notice and even if they did, would they work out what was going on? The truth was quite unbelievable. However Rita was probably saving her relationship though she wasn't too overjoyed with the promise she'd just made on her behalf.

"Don't be silly, I'm fine. Just been worring about you" She smiled at him and held his hand. She didn't mention her run in with Grey and nor did she really want to. It had left her feeling so weak and defeated. Mental stregnth was where she was strongest and that drop in confidence had a greater impact on her than most people. She didn't let that show of course, she was determined not to let that beat her and bounce back, stronger than ever.

 

OOC: We should stop stalling guys :/

 

OOC: Sorry. If you look Liv has just given Sasha the prophecy and we're still waiting on you to reply as Hark. You made him turn up so we couldn't ignore him. I was doing things with Karol while we waited for you. Once we've got past Hark, we can switch them back and stuff. Sorry we may take a while to reply but that only because we put a lot of effort into them.

BIC: Hark frowned at "Leyna's" reaction. She didn't feel like Leyna. You alright? Looks like you saw a ghost or something? Did something happen?

 

Rita turned to face Hark once again, trying to look as convincingly normal as possible. "Huh? Don't be silly, I-I'm perfectly fine.." She smiled reassuringly at Leyna's boyfriend, trying to make him less suspicious, but it was pretty obvious it wasn't working. She hoped her actions hadn't ruined her friendship with Leyna or Hark's relationship with Leyna, it was hard trying to be someone she wasn't. She couldn't use her usual attitude whilst almost masquerading as her friend without risking anything.

Karol smiled at Liv as she spoke, giving her a small peck on the cheek once she had stopped. "I think we ought to continue this another time, I get the feeling we might be holding everyone up." He didn't by any means want to end this, however he knew Sasha and the others wouldn't wait for ever, especially if there was something "important" that they needed to do.

 

Hark frowned at her. He didn't know what was bothering her but he decided to let it go and gave her a smile. Anyways, at least youre safe.

BIC: Sasha walked into an empty room, reading the scroll when Grey walked in as well. How bad is it?

We have no time left. It has to be commenced soon. How is her status?

It shall be very soon. And don't worry about Dementrio trying to kill me. I can fix her.

Sasha nodded before handing the scroll back to him. Alright. Do your job then. Don't let your emotions get in the way. I don't care if you still love her. She walked out, leaving Grey alone in the room.

 

Liv squeezed Karol's hand, "Yeah, you're right. I'm going to find out what's going on." She sighed and got up, going after Sasha as she came out of the room. She had no plans to be left out, she knew fair well that whatever the document said would dictate what they'd be doing next and how they'd be next risking their lives. "Sasha. What does it say? You know we'll go and do whatever it takes for the cause, but we'd like to know what's going on first. Why we are doing this instead of going in blind. So please, what does it say?" She hoped Sasha would let them into the loop and tell them what was going on. She wished Mya was okay and was in charge again. Sasha intimidated her and it always felt like she never told you the full story, there was always some dark secret. That was half of the reason for confronting her, also after what had happened with Grey, she was determined to not let Sasha turn it around. Although she knew that she didn't have much choice right now, she'd have to go with it. From Sasha's expression it seemed bad so she braced herself for bad news.

Leyna moved away from Rita with Hark as soon as she saw Sasha moving away, with a sense of urgency. She could tell that that was something important even though she wasn't quite sure what yet. Seeing Liv confronting Sasha, she decided to come over. It appeared to be more prophecy thingy. Personally, she wasn't convinced by any of the prophecy nonsense and anything to do with Grey but she knew she'd have to follow whatever was decided from this. She got there in time to hear what Liv said and she nodded in agreement, "Yeah, we'd like to know" She said in support. She was vaguely aware she was still in Rita's body and didn't know if it was obvious but that was the last thing on her mind.

 

Sasha sighed and looked at Mya before back at them. It's...complicated. Here's what I can tell you. A plague will run through this land. It will kill billions both Sori and humans. It claims one could stop it all, obviously Mya, but it gets very vague at that point. Something like the "wings of mercy" and the "heart of a slave." Whoever wrote the prophecy was meant to confuse us.

 

Demetrio looked confused a plague what kind of plague?
