Rita laughed as Leyna dragged her down the corridor. Surprised she could be so cheery at moments like these. She stole a glance at the rooms they passed, each one of them getting wackier and wackier. One room was full of a test tube rack made out of test tubes, whilst another room had a small pool full of custard with a sign next to it which read; "Running on custard experiment". In the last room she saw, there was a giant glass box, inside there seemed to be a massive assortment of colours crammed into it. "Hey! Aren't those the colours in the spect- Woah!" She yelped as Leyna pullled her along faster.

 

Liv was getting all ready to come back at Grey, but then he said his last comment, which threw her entirely. "Woah, woah, back up a second. Wait, what? What do you mean?" She frowned though now more from confusion than anger. She looked at him, waiting for him to explain and trying to make sense of the person in front of her. She still didn't trust him and didn't fully understand what had transpired on those nights long ago, but she wasn't going to stop him now, she wanted to know what he had to say, it could be important.

Leyna laughed, "It looks like he's been busy. You know, some of this could actually be really useful. Like look at that room, I'd have never though to do that but when he perfects it, that could be so helpful. But..." She carried on down the corridor, "Some of this is simply pointless." She stared into a room where random 3D pokedots were floating around the room, but lets see some of his finished works. She turned down a corridor and opened a door to find a strange contraption, it had lots of flashing lights and wires everywhere but it seemed to revolve around 2 hat things with wires attached to them. "What's this I wonder?" Leyna asked with a grin.

Ulysess's face lit up when she said she would say but his grin slowly dropped as he saw Sasha's expession, "You're not happy are you? You're, you're scared? Of me?" He let go of her and walked away towards the wall, hitting it so hard that it dented. "Why? Why? It's not fair" He got out his notepad and started scribbling eleborate designs in his fustration, which he promptly ripped out and chucked on the floor. The notes, if anyone cared to look contained detailed instructions to create something, propably ingenius but they would most likely be forgotten forever more.

 

Grey heaved a sigh. Swear to me that you won't tell anyone got it?

Sasha stated at his work before looking back at him. It's not that. I just think you got the wrong person..I think you're a wonderful man and stuff, but a guy like you doesn't deserve a girl like me. There's too much behind me.

 

Demetrio was still in the room with Mya he brushed a hand across her cheek goodnight Mya he walked out of the room

 

"Well we aren't gonna find out if we just stand gawking at it." Rita grinned as she caught up with her friend. "Let's go in and look!" She tiptoed into the room slowly, making sure she didn't knock anything over as she snuck in. "It certainly looks....unique.." Rita exclaimed as she got up close to it, trying to resist the urge to touch it.

 

Liv nodded quickly, "Ughh, yes?" She was quite worried now about what he was going to tell her. It sounded important, something the others would probably need to know but she had to promise to keep quiet. Otherwise, he would not tell her and it had got to the point she really had to know now. Her hands were actually shaking as she looked at him, searching his eyes for any kind of clue as to what he was about to say.

Leyna cautiously walked it and over to the machine, "That it does, I wonder what it's for" She looked at a particular bit of it, "Hey look here, these look almost like hats, though with lots of wires coming out of things. I think two people are supposed to lay, here and here" She guestured to two slanted bed or slabs even, and then pointed to the hat type things, "And then you have to put that thing on your head. I dread to think what it does though." She shook her head, examining the machine.

Ulysess bent over his entire body shaking at first appearing like he was in tears but then he gradually got louder until it was obvious he was in fits of laughter. "You're funny, you ....know that? Scratch ...that, you're hilarious" He carried on laughing, he entire body convulsing as he laughed. He walked over and swept his arms around her to hold her in a hug, swaying from side to side though he was still skaking as he laughed, "Thank you, I really needed that" He said his head over her shoulder and a completely gleeful expression on his face.

 

Rita grinned mischievously from ear to ear as Leyna explained what she thought of the machine. "Maybe....we should try it out on someone? Like, y'know as a guinea pig!" She wandered around to the two slab like things and lay down on one of them, trying to get comfortable. "Do you have any idea of who the victims might be?" She quizzed her friend, who was shaking her head whilst examining the mysterious machine.

 

Leyna shook her head, “I don’t like this, we shouldn’t be doing this. And n-“ As spoke she had been backing away until she backed straight into the machine. She whipped round to look at it but as she did so the entire machine lit up, “Uh oh, Rita, get off it!” However before she had finished speaking, bars had suddenly snapped into place, securing Rita on the slab. “No, no, no!” She ran over and grabbed the bar attempting to yank the bars off Rita. “It’s not budging! What do I do?” While she did this the hat above Rita slowly lowered onto her head. She tried one last time, with all her stregnth to pull the bar off, unfortunatly it did not budge and her hands slipped off the bar. She staggered back and fell straight back onto the other slab. The moment she landed on it, the bar came in front of her, trapping her. “No!!” She screamed but she could barely be heard over the rising sound of the machine. The wired up hat slowly desended over her head.

Silence.

Leyna slowly opened her eyes, the first thing that struck her was that her eyesight seemed to have got worse, she was sure she couldn’t see things as well or as sharply as before. She gradually remembered what had happened and slowly looked over to where Rita should have been but there was nothing there. She frowned and looked the other way, where to her great surprise she saw herself?! Her frown deeped, “What the-“ She gasped, her voice was not her own. She slowly looked down at herself and became aware she could not feel her wings. The bar infront of her clicked and opened as she realised with a shock, she was in Rita’s body.

BIC: Grey sighed. When we kidnapped Mya, we did it because of something she had within herself. In order to do that we needed her to go into a coma and also wipe out her memory. It's only temporarily though. The thing is that if she wakes up, she probably won't remember anything. Not even you, Rita, Karol, or any of us.

Sasha blinked in confusion. Could this guy get any stranger?

 

Rita gasped sharply as the thick metal bars trapped her on the slab, preventing her from moving a muscle. "H-help!" She screamed as Leyna came bounding over at a tremendous speed, eyes wide with horror. She squirmed and wriggled about as her friend attempted to break the bars off with all her might, but it just wasn't enough. At the same time, Rita felt a hat like object attach itself to her head, "Uh oh..." She gulped, as Leyna's hands slipped off the bar and sent her flying onto the other slab. She too, got herself trapped by the metal bars as they snapped over her. The last thing she saw was the other hat object plop itself down onto Leyna's head because everything went blurry afterwards.


The first thing Rita saw when she opened her eyes was...well quite a lot actually. Everything was amazingly crisp and clear, she could see everything with so much detail, it was pretty unbelievable. She also noticed the presence of two other limbs and out of curiosity tried to move them, but they wouldn't budge, as if something heave was lying on them. She sat up groggily as the bars withdrew from their position and reached for her goggles to see if they had been damaged in anyway. Nothing..nothing was there. She patted away again and again but only got the same result. "Huh...must have fallen off.." She muttered, accepting that as a suitable answer. "Hey Leyna, you okay?" She looked over at where her friend should've been...but instead she found herself staring at herself. "Huh?" She yelped, looking down at herself in disbelief as her robes were nowhere to be found. "What the hell happened!?" She quickly covered her mouth a soon as her voice rang out...except it wasn't her voice...in fact it sounded nothing like her's.

OOC: I apologise for the delay, I have been busy and it's been hard figuing out what to do with them all. I hope this is good enough to make up for the wait.

Liv just stared at Grey for a moment, she didn't know how to reply to that. She didn't know what she'd been expecting him to say but it certainly wasn't that. When she eventually found her voice, "Really? Not anything? Demetrio's going to find that hard." She muttered then she paused and looked directly at Grey, "What did she have inside of her? Did you find what you were looking for?" She looked straight at him, she knew this could be important, they needed to know what they were up against and if it was something those people could use against them, then especially so.

Leyna cautiously got up; it felt so weird to not have wings. He hand went experimentally to her forehead where she felt Rita’s trademark goggles, she’d already figured what had happened but for some reason that cemented it. She slowly brought her gaze over to see herself, “Rita? Is that you?” She asked quietly, ignoring the foreign sound of her voice, “I-I think we’ve switched bodies. What do we do?” She asked, she knew she was known for being the sensible one who usually knew exactly what to do but this had thrown her way out of her comfort zone, she needed time to think.

Ulysess slowly disattached himself from Sasha, though her had enjoyed the feeling of her being so close to him, he could feel how tense she was. He knew little of human behaviour but it didn’t feel completely right, not yet. The only problem was he was out of ideas, he was clueless as to what to do next. He could do charts and diagrams, work out every chemical in her brain but that still didn’t tell him what to do. He sighed, disheartened and silently walked away from her.

 

Grey scratched his head. He'll probably kill me just for that. And no we haven't found it yet. If John didst have other ideas with her. The thing is that I need you to convince the others to move southward. I have a base there. He handed an old scroll that looks like a million years old. Give this to Sasha and tell her that changes have to be made.

Sasha frowned. She felt kinda bad trying not to understand him, but she also stopped herself. This guy needed to know life isn't a merry go round where everything is there. On the other hand, he probably never shared his feelings. Maybe he needed someone less moody and someone more intelligent and has similar interests. She walked away towards the room where Mya and Karol are placed.

Liv's momentarily relief at them having found nothing was cut short by what he said next. She glared suspicially at him as she cautiously took the scroll, "And why should I do that? You tell me that. You could be leading us all into a trap, you haven't given me much reason to trust you." She wasn't sure what to do, she didn't trust him at all but what if she was wrong about him? What if this was really important? She frowned, her head awash with a million questions. She didn't want to do something stupid, that she'd regret later but she didn't know which choice that was. Why was nothing ever simple?

Ulysses stared after Sasha, a frown on his face. He was so annoyed, he thought she was different, he'd even tried acting different for once showing how he felt. Not that it had helped, she just thought he was mad like the rest of them. They didn't understand. Why was it so hard to fit in, all his life being treated as an outsider, even as a child bullied and picked on. Just because he was a little different. He never showed it of course, he coped perfectly well on his own but every now and again, watching them, it hurt. He got out his notepad and started scribbling again, it was when he was in moods like this these doodles got dangerous. He never made any of these things but his notes gave step by step instructions to make them. This was when he designed death rays, doomsday devices and plagues. All of which would work perfectly if they followed his instructions, so if they got into the wrong hands there was hell to pay. Watching Sasha, he wouldn't give up though, not a chance of that. She would be his.

 

Grey turned away from Liv when answering. Because I love Mya. The last think I want to see is to see her suffer. She carries the burden of the world on her shoulders. All we can do is lighten the weight pound by pound. He pulled out a picture and showed it to Liv. It showed him and Mya hugging and smiling and they looked about 15 years of age.

 

Rita placed her hand over her forehead and glanced at herself...or rather, Leyna in her body. "I think we need a little heart-to-heart chat with that 'genius' friend of yours..." She growled, trying to sound as angry as possible, but with Leyna's voice it wasn't that easy as it usually sounded very soft and calm, not to mention she had never seen Leyna get particularly angry beforehand. She slowly and shakily climbed to her feet, trying her best not to fall backwards and potentially cause quite severe damage what appeared to be Leyna's precious wings."I'm so going to kill that lunatic! Why would he even build a machine like this and not seal it off or anything?!...Anyway...are you alright over there?" She looked over at Leyna again and noticed many features on her face that she had not noticed beforehand, Do I really have all those spots? Oh man.... She squinted her eyes slightly and shook her head, unable to get used to Leyna's extremely enhanced eyesight, especially after being so used to her own normal sight for 16 long and hard years.

 

Demetrio walked out of the room and shook his head what did they do to her he calmly said to himself hiding his true feelings

Sinder slept peacefully in her lover's arms, warm and happy.

Zerci gently stroked Sinder's cheek n head, also resting herself in the shade of the rocks.

She didn't want the other to wake up in a strange new place so she had stayed outside.

Sinder woke up after about a couple hours and smiled at Zerci.

"Did I miss anything love?"

"The others went inside a while ago and that's all I know.

Sinder kissed Zerci's chest and sat up on the other's lap.

Zerci kissed her love softly.

"Baby."

Sinder smiled more n blushed a little.

"Love when you call me that."

"Shall we go and see the others?"

"In a bit.

I kinda wanna sit here and look at you n kiss you for a while."

Zerci got a big ol' grin.

"I'm up for it."

Sinder and Zerci both leaned in and their lips met.
