War for Sori

Liv studied Rita for a second with a quizzical expression, wondering when she learnt to mind read before nodding, "You're probably right" She said in a voice barely audiable, "But there must have been something I could do, something I can do now to help. I just feel so so helpless." She sighed and looked down at him, "He's the one who's good at healing magic and if we were hurt he'd be helping us right away, but no he had to go and get himself hurt. Now what do we do? I wish he could do his super duper healing magic on himself and be right as rain. I'd do anything for that."

 

"I can only tell you what it means and the alphabet by voice.

My teacher made it forbidden to translate the text into any other language on paper," Sinder continued to Demitrio.

Zerci turned to Leyna.

"We are ready when you are."

 

Demetrio nodded I would like that because if I am to use this powerful magic it would be nice not to accidentally do a suicide spell that would be unfortunate he had an idea wait you can't write it down but isn't it possible to copy your knowledge of the language into my mind? from what little of the basics of this book I have translated through scraps of archival knowledge, I came across a spell that allowed others to share their thoughts telepatically and another to cause one to remember everything within a time period. if that is ok with you we may do that.

 

"The spell is to transfer one's memories to another.

It is all memories that the person has stored into his or her memory.

The process is long, tricky, and very dangerous.

One can have too many memories and kill the other.

It has only been accomplished once with my teacher and I and it was one of the hardest things Ihave been through.

He was only thirty, I am hundreds of years old.

So this would be very dangerous for your life.

Plus I would have to be chained down because once the process starts I will lose control of my physical body and magical abilities until the transfer is done.

Demetrio nodded I would do anything to protect those close to me even if it will kill me so yes let's do it he sat the book between the two of them as an anchor between their minds zerci you are the only one who could restrain sinder so please bind her before we begin he braced himself and focused clearing his mind of all things he felt were unimportant sinder do me a favor would you...? his eyes remained closed if my body fails on me transfer my power to Mya.

 

"Liv, it wasn't your responsibility to protect Karol, it was mine. It's my fault he got like this and mine alone, don't beat yourself up over it. What you can do is stay by his side to keep him strong. No healing magic can match your affection for him."

 

Liv frowned, "Oh no. You're not playing that card, there is no way I'm letting you take all the responsibilty for him. But how about we share it, I won't beat myself up about it but that means you aren't allowed to beat yourself up either. Agreed?" Liv offered her hand to Rita, now smiling.

Leyna turned round to look at Demetrio and Sinder, "What the hell do you think you're doing? Have you forgotten where we are? There is a time and place for your silly magic rituals and it's not here, not now. So can you please concentrate on our current situation? Thank you. Anyway, everyone ready? We're off!" With that she beat her wings powerfully and burst into the sky.

 

Sinder and Zerci stared at the boy wondering what he was doing as he sat himself and the book down.

"I will respect your wishes but this is not the appropriate time or place for that."

She grabbed Demitrio with her beak and threw him onto her back along with the book.

"There will be time for foolishness later."

She heard Leyna and saw her take off.

"Someone has some sense."

Sinder waited a little while before taking off herself.

Zerci stayed at Sinder's side as they followed Leyna.

 

Hark shot off and flew beside Leyna
Grey watched as they took to the skies. He stared down at Mya, examining her. He spoke, but only in a whisper. I'm sorry.

 

OOC: Gray's not coming with them?

Bic: Leyna concentrated on where she was going as she flew, swerving to the side towards the mountains. It was typical of him though to give directions in the form of a nursary rhyme, couldn't he ever just give them straight. Though she had been before as well, so it shouldn't be that hard.

 

Rita took Liv's hand and grinned. "Alright, fair enough." She let out a small groan, slowly rising to make sure she kept her balance. "Now we have to wait until he wakes up, which hopefully won't take long..." Rita hid the small bits of worry and doubt in her voice.

 

OOC: Ugh I meant Mya above. And yes he is coming. I shall explain soon.

 

Demetrio felt a bit shocked from the feeling of being grabbed fine let's go we may continue this soon

 

Grey stayed silent as they continued flying, eying Mya every once in a while.

Sasha waited as the were headed for their destination. Something doesn't feel right...

 

Leyna flew quickly, into the mountain range between two large red mountains then swered a particular route inside deep into the mountain range. She kept reciting the rhyme in her mind, hoping she'd got it right. One wrong turn in this place and you could get quite lost. But sure enough as she made the last turn, going under a archway, she could see it and a smile of relief washed over her face.

Liv however, who had been happier after Rita spoke to her, frowned as she saw it. "Wait, is that what I think it is?" She could barely believe her eyes, the building before them was a factory and on the side was painted the enemy emblem.

 

Hark frowned as he followed Leyna. Umm...Leyna? Are you sure we're heading the right way? Why are we at a human base?

 

OOC: Are we still calling the 2 sides Sori's and humans? Because tbh half of them are humans.

BIC: Leyna grinned at Hark and nodded, "We're in exactly the right place. Oh, don't worry, it's abandoned" She paused and her grin widened, "Well mostly" She swooped down and landed outside the factory.

 

"I hope she knows what she's doing." Rita sighed, reaching down to pick up Karol. After attempting many times, she groaned and stepped back in defeat. "Whew, he's a lot heavier than I imagined."

 

Sinder and Zerci landed softly, taking the cloaking off themselves.

Sinder looked really sleepy and laid her wings on the floor as the ones on her back got off.

Zerci saw her lover and put her head under Sinder's chin, supporting her so she wouldn't have to worry about keeping her head up.

Sinder smiled softly and closed her eyes.
