"We'd better be careful about where we evacuate to, considering we had a spy in our midst." Rita grimaced when she thought about Jade. "Somewhere they can't find us or at the very least attack us."

 

"Yeah..." She agreed but went quiet as they moved quickly, that would mean it would be even harder to meet up with him unless...

An invisible lightbulb came on above her head, "I think I know where we could go, possibly one of the safest places around."

 

Grey placed Mya into the airship at the top of the deck. We can discuss the place once we hit air. We need to leave before Capital troops come to investigate this ship. After all, we are only like 5 miles from it.

 

"Yeah, does anyone here even know how to fly that thing? Place I have in mind isn't that far away anyway" Leyna said as she jumped abroad it.

Liv followed her on, though made an effort to stay close to Karol, who she was still worried about.

 

Rita sighed and scratched her head. "Well...I think Karol can fly this but...." She looked over at her unconscious brother with sad eyes.

Karol's fist clenched slightly and he let out a soft groan, as if he were reacting to Liv's presence.

 

Liv smiled faintly at him, moved closed and slipped her hand into his, squeezing it weakly, "Come on, be okay." She said to him quietly before looking up, "He's stronger than he looks. He's always been brilliant at healing magic, I just wish he could heal himself. I do anything just to make him okay"

 

Sinder and Zerci walked close to the airship and the group.

"We can fly you there."

"Plus, it is much easier to cloak ourselves than a piece of machinery."

They both knelt down, cooling their flames to let the others aboard.

"And we are faster."

 

Grey nodded. That could work too. He placed Mya on them and climbed onto them, waiting for the others to get on.

Sasha hopped on, dropping Karol onto Sinder and Zerci.

 

Leyna frowned, "Is there enough room and are you strong enough to carry all of us?" She knew they were strong but they weren't limitless, she not seen them carry that many before and was concerned about it. Also, though she would never admit it she felt uncomfortable flying not with her own wings, she'd just about convinced herself to get on the airship but it just felt unnatural.

Liv glared briefly at Sasha as she dropped Karol, he deserved more care than that and she quickly ran to him.

 

Karol landed with a thud on the dragon's back, groaning loudly on impact.

OOC: Bleh, what to do with an unconscious character :/

 

OOC: They are not dragons at the moment they are phoenixes. Even though they prefer being dragons, it is easier to fly as a phoenix while carrying passengers due to having less limbs and less weight than a dragon. Feathers are lighter than scales. Also, here is a description of what they look like; clear bones with darkness making out the body that appears as fire. Sinder has purple eyes with purple and black darkness and Zerci has blue eyes and blue and black darkness.

Sinder turned to Leyna.

"Do not be concerned about our strength.

Although we get tired, we may not quit even if it is hard to carry you.

"Leyna, if you are uncomfortable riding on one of us then you are more than welcome to fly yourself.

Plus, it would make it easier for us to fly.

You will just need Sasha or someone else to cloak you as we will have a hard enough time cloaking ourselves and the ones on us."

"How many of you are there not including Leyna?"

 

Leyna nodded, "Thank you, I would prefer that. Will I be able to see you and you me if we are all cloaked? There are 6 or 7 of us, depending if Hark flies with me. Also, I do know somewhere safe not too far from here, would you like me to lead you there?"

Liv got on behind Karol, a little aprehencious about flying but determined to stay with Karol and make sure no more harm came to him. She already felt guilty about him getting hurt in the first place, that she did not manage to stop it.

 

Sinder nodded.

"Yes, we will be able to see you by your aura.

"Hark should fly with you so Sinder and I can manage three of you each.

So everyone, besides Leyna and Hark, get on so there is three of you on each of us."

"You may lead us Leyna.

We will be ready as soon as everyone else is settled in and ready."

 

Demetrio hopped on Sinder's back you know Sinder I found a book of dark magic long ago and I know it is older than I. so anyways I can't translate it so if I do a spell it is kinda a grabbag of effects so I was wondering is this thing familiar to you?

 

Sinder smiled at the thought of the book.

"Well, that is the very same book that my teacher taught me magic from.

He wrote it hundreds of years ago.

I met him only a few years after my first death, a fine fellow he was.

But he had a few screws loose and talked to himself a lot.

He wasn't a bad, evil man.

He was normal, unlike many who have learned dark magic.

My teacher died at the age of eighty, while I remained in my young state.

His passing was peaceful, dying in slumber.

It was sad to have someone I knew to pass away, but he was getting old and fragile."

BIC: Hark nodded and stood next to Leyna. Hope you know where to take us Leyna. It would be a shame if we were found in a wasteland. He laughed and rubbed her head. I'm kidding. I-no we have faith in you.

 

Leyna laughed, "Thanks, a word of warning though, it might not be quite what you expect but appearences can be decieving"

 

Demetrio looked at his book again well if you know a bit about it could you do me a favor and translate it when you get some free time?

 

Rita walked over to Liv, crouching down and studying her brother with a worried expression. "Hey, Liv." She said, looking up at the girl. "I know what you're thinking, but blaming yourself for what happened to Karol isn't going to help. Especially when it's not your fault in the first place."
