War for Sori

Leyna smiled as Hark let go of her, she didn't mind holding hands, she just wasn't keen on being dragged. She raised her eyebrow as Grey opened the door, maybe he was useful to have around after all.

Liv looked up briefly as he opened the door but just sent him a dark look and looked down again.

 

Grey continued leading them through the secret tunnel until they reached what looked like a laboratory. He fumbled around a computer. In some of the tanks held some Feline Soris.

Hark examined the tanks. Grey, why are you holding your own kind in here?

Grey sighed. If you must know, we did tests on them. He frowned at the computer screen. Weird. It says Mya isn't here anymore.

 

Leyna's eyes widened and she ran up to the closest tank, "This is wrong, so wrong. We have to free them, we can't leave them here like this. The monsters who did this, I'm going to rip their heads off."

 

Grey scratched his head. Well then you have permission to rip my head off after we are done. Looks like she has been moved. But why?

She's been placed on a boat to the Capitol. John stood at the doorway of the room. It was a hassle. Your "friend" had issues when biting me. Anyways, like I said, she's been placed to head to the Capitol to be executed.

Grey frowned. You're a fool John. Do you know what would happen if you kill her?

John smirked. I do in fact. She will be a martyr. A saint to the people. Then a civil war will break out. One group of Sori against another. Once they weaken, I will give hope to the losing team and wipe out the other. I will take charge of this land. Humans deserve the benefit. WE are the ones that supply this land with food, water, and money. WE do our job and it isn't enough. We went through 2 wars just to see if we belong here. Once I'm in charge, there will be no more needless sacrafices.

Grey narrowed his eyes. That's your plan? To massacre millions of people just so YOU can be in charge around here? We'll kill you before you can even try to kill her.

John smiled. Well will you? He pulled out a syringe with strange purple liquid in it. What now Grey?

Grey stepped back. John, put that down. We don't even know what it can do!

Oh we shall see! He injected it into his arm. At first, nothing happened. Then, he dropped it and started turning pale. He groaned in pain and his eyes turned bloodred. Then 2 huge bat wings exploded out of his back. Alarms started to blare and all the doors around them closed and sealed them in. Warning! Biohazard detected! Science room is locked down for safety purposes. John chuckled and looked at them. You aren't leaving here alive. When he spoke, it sounded like there was 2 of him speaking. He then Suddenly vanished.

Grey looked around. Stay sharp! He could be anywhere!

OOC: Dayum. That's a long post :O

 

OOC: Ooh epic fight time?

Rita pulled out her sash, swinging it around menacingly. "God damnit why do we always get the nutcases!?"

Karol grabbed his sword out and held it up defensively, turning in all directions. He caught Liv's eye when he reached her and gave her a Will you be okay? look.

 

Leyna had her trusty bow out in seconds, looking around rapidly, "Because it would be boring otherwise" She replied to her old friend, "And I reckon now would be a good time to transform and test out our different forms"

Liv actually smiled, "Oh, I'll be more than okay" Things were so much simpler on the battlefield, "Now Karol feel up to that shield?" At the same time Liv was working to establish a mind link between all of them including Grey. It probably wouldn't matter as much in this battle but it meant they could comminicate without John or the thing that John had become, hearing. 'Can everyone hear me?' Of course she had her daggers out as well though she much prefered to fight with her mind. She'd got some little tricks that she planned to test out.

 

OOC: Oh, I had completely forgotten about that :P

BIC: Karol nodded, I can hear you, and yes whenever your ready. Suddenly, Karol's blade turned a palish blue has he began to gather magical energy.

 

OOC: Crap I forgot about Sasha D8 I'll assume she made a distraction and stayed outside :P

BIC: Hark pulled out 2 handguns and looked around. Grey materialized a scythe and looked around which was annoying since John's voice seems to come from everywhere. Hehe I enjoy watching you helpless fools. I'm just here to stall you. The boat only left a couple of hours ago. So I could have fun or kill you all quickly. Then he appeared in front of Grey and swiped at him, but Grey blocked it and kicked him back. You'se still haughty and boastful of yourself. It will kill you. Hark fired rounds at him, but he dissapeared again. Tsk tsk. Keep talking. After all, time cannot be purchased or gained.

 

"Perhaps" Jade said, his spear materializing in his hand as John must have moved over him. "But it can be controlled." He hinted to the others, especially Liv, considering magic like that was her thing.

 

John appeared and created a crystal wall around the group. Right, but you should worry about this fight more than time. The walls around them started to come together slowly.

 

"Son of a.....!" Rita cursed, battering the wall next to her with countless spells, none of them having any effect. "Why don't you fight us fairly you mutated freak!?"

 

John chuckled. Don't worry. I won't kill you with it. He made the walls stop moving. Just for less space for you to move. He tossed a ball in the air and started raining needles down on them while Grey created a shield to deflect all the needles.

 

Liv paused, she'd never even considered attempting to mess with time but anyway she'd got bigger problems to deal with like how to stop him. She didn't know what to do, she wasn't good at physical magic, she was much better at mental magic although, Rita who as good at physical magic didn't seem to have much luck either. She frowned, what could she do? She couldn't stop them physically but maybe she could break his concentration. She'd been working on something lately, that if she managed to do would give him one hell of a head ache. The only problem was to do that she'd have to get into his mind, which was easier said than done. Even locating it was a challenge in itself. She shut her eyes and concentrated, seaching with her mind and letting the power flow through her.

Leyna cursed before looking up, 'We've got wings for a reason, might as well use them. We're not trapped if we can avoid those needles' With a powerful beat of her wings, she flew up into the air.

 

Karol raised his sword up in the air. "Maia!" He shouted, causing his sword to float upwards towards the needles. He then made a spinning motion with his hands, which made his sword twirl round at an incredible speed. "Now, go!" He yelled, willing the sword to fly around, hitting and deflecting some of the needles back at John.

 

Leyna burst into the air with a strong beat of her wings, she grabbed Jade as she went up, 'Sorry but the more of us who escape the better' She darted up though the needles, going up above them and went across before soaring down to drop of Jade outside of the wall before flying back up and getting her bow out.

 

John frowned as they flew out. Annoying flies. He fired lighting at Leyna and continued firing needles.

 

"Fine by me" Jade thought as he landed outside of the barrier, glad to get out of the cramped space.

Rita snapped her fingers and a book of spells appeared in front of her, the spine laced with gold. She grabbed it and skimmed through it, looking for a spell that might stun John long enough for the others to escape.

 

Grey broke the crystal wall and stepped out. Sorry for me stalling. He fired a giant fireball at John which he deflected as well, but burnt his clothes a bit. I should've killed you properly Grey.

 

Karol took a chance and willed his sword to fly at John at lightning speed. Hopeful it would cause some serious damage if it it.

 

Leyna darted around the room, trying to avoid the lightning, "That all you got?" She shouted although she knew she'd regret it and fired a few perfectly aimed arrows.

Meanwhile Liv had located John's mind and was working her way into it, though her physical body appeared in a trance.
