War for Sori

Motivated by Anima+

Prologue- In a land called Renova, there are people that are half human half animals called Soris. For 40 years, humans have lived among the Soris and befriended them. Now, corrupted dictators need a scapegoat to fix thir messes. They blamed the Soris and the people agreed. Wars broke out, cities crumbled, and millions were killed. The survivors now must fight for their lives.

Rules-
1. No godmodding or power playing
2. No killing w/o my permission
3. Keep cursing to a minimum.
4. I encourage romance, but PLEASE do not go overboard. That's what PMs are for (only use if you are that desperate XD)
5. If you are not posting for 3+ days, your character will be killed unless you notify me.

Factions-

Humans- The...well humans. They have cities all across Renova. Most Were destroyed by battles. 2 of their main groups are:

Ravagers: The human's main army. It consists of tough soldiers and drafted citizens. Although they have the supplies, weapons, and technology, they lack speed and strategy.

Joint Garrisons: The elite part of the Ravagers. Only experienced war veterans are allows in the JG. Tbey contain power, knowladge, and speed. Their only flaw is their lack of judgement. They give no mercy to their enemies.

Soris: Half human half animal inhabitants of Renova: They may not have all of the human's technology, but they have the knowladge of their homeland and landforms. The major groups are:

Feline: The cat race. They have speed and nimbleness. Their skill in close quarters are deadly and ruthless. They are usually lazy, but they are skilled.

Hawkins: The bird race. They have extreme speed and sharp vision. They are the kings in air combat and ranged fighting. They do fair poor at close combat. Always on the watch.

Bio: Always admired war generals and veterans. At age 20, he was drafted into the army. Now he's head commander of the Joint Garrison. He knows nothing but victory.

When she transforms her wings more than double in size, her entire body increases in size, her hair becomes longer and lighter and her eyes turn golden. She also appears to glow, all of her attacks are much stronger.
Weapon(s): Bow and Arrows, plus a concealed knife.
Bio: Leyna was usually quite reserved, she doesn't like fighting but when her family was killed, she swore she would help stop this war and other Sori's going through what she did. Since then she trained hard to learn how to fight and is determined to make a difference.
Personality: Leyna is hard-working and determined, but is quite quiet and sensible. She thinks carefully before making decisions instead of rushing into things head first. She is extremely loyal to her friends with a strong sense of honor and duty. Despite this, she loves to be free and doesn't like people holding her back or ordering her about without cause. She also loves the chance to be childish and have some fun every so often.



Liv joined the rp part way through; I edited the OC form to make it make sense for her.

Bio: Liv was brought up in a village where she was brain washed into believing Sori’s were all savage beasts that only wanted to kill and needed to be put down for everyone’s safety. However, when she was 10 she found an injured Sori out in the woods and quickly discovered that she had been lied to. She set about nursing them back to health, befriending them and learning all she could about them. However, one day she returned to find her new friend murdered. Horrified, blaming her village for both lying to her and this, she ran away. She spent a while on her own in the wilderness, learning to take care of herself before being taken in by a small travelling group of sorcerers who she spent several years with, in which time she discovered she had a talent for magic in particular magic involving the mind. She trained hard to improve and eventually even surpassed her new family. When she this happened she realised that she might be able to do some good to help the Sori’s and end this war. She left the sorcerers and found her way to a Sori camp, where she was one of the few humans to originally join their side. She had heard much about Mya and her group so jumped at the chance to join them.
Personality: Liv is ever the keen student; she is always learning and wanting to know more. She is optimistic; she sees the positive side in everything and has a great love for life. She can be quite childish and loves to mess around. Though she is hard working and determined; she will work hard to achieve her goals. She will do all she can to protect her friends.

Bio: Sgt. St. James is one of the JGs--despite her young age--due to her immense training begun at ten years old. (Her father had wanted boys, which explains her odd name.) Her naturally calculating personality flourished in military training, leading to her easy climb up the ranks. Unfortunately, she is not only merciless in regards to the Soris, but also toward her men.
Other: Very no-nonsense and cold.

Bio: Gears was never raised to be a soldier, but, on his sixteenth birthday, he was drafted into the on-going war between the humans and Soris. He has nothing against the Soris, not to mention that he hates guns. He tends to function more as the mechanic in his regiment, which earned him the nickname Gears early on.
Other: Easy-going, friendly, but freaked out by gunfire.

Weapon(s): usually a pair of swords that have been tempered with special metals to be harder than steel and he also uses a basic 500. magnum revolver that is silver plated and for a side arm he uses a basic 9mm
Bio: Demetrio was always a talented strategist he has a few honors to his name. his looks are also another thing he usually ends up getting in a lot of trouble because he usually flirts with the taken women but in that light he also uses that as a slight advantage. out of the felines he is the smartest but the trade off for that is he isn't exceptional in combat for that type of fighter he is above average but not exceptional.
Other: He is skilled in a fight but he is notorious for being the first to run when times get tough, although he doesnt really run he just plays at it to lure people into traps

Kaze was still being lazy at home and sleeping in, then again yesterday he had gotten into a big fight with a Feline. Slowly his eyes blinked open and he looked around in a daze while thinking, 'morning already..?'

Rexar was up in a apple tree he breathed in fresh air and smiled as he picked a apple from the tree and checked it for bugs before taking a big bite of it. Rexar then jumped off the tree and toke off in flight to scan the area of anyone around.

Jit'shin ran silent but fast through the woodlands as he looked for a something to eat, he wanted a rabbit but wasn't sure if he'd find any around today. Jit'shin rolled under some bushes as his tail swayed violently as he grinned seeing a white-tailed deer which was even better.
