The estate where I live, drug deals happen on the corners and alcoholics sleep outside of the shops. Last week a girl got attacked and raped and the week before that a man was beaten and mugged about 5 streets away from me.

Pick any place in the world and look at it, and you can see the imperfections. No place is perfect, it is how you deal with the imperfections.

You can choose to be taken down by them and give in to chaos, or you can hold your head high above it and know that even though the rest of everywhere is crashing down around you that you are not like those other people.

The world is a scary place, no one pretends it is part of a fairytale and no one pretends that it is all rainbows and smiles.
