My way ( don't read if you want to play for yourself ) :
Save Him > Stay Here > Gather Wood > Go Downstairs > Leave Her > Run For The Street

The Woods will save you, but you won't approach the true ending, it will just say "You have survived ... for now". So, the true ending will come when you go for the street.​
