I know there has been a lot of Death Note RPs before, but..... >_>

It has been years after the death note changed the world with Kira's presence. Light has now died and N, the new L has been solving cases for some time.

Meanwhile, in England there was a large house where a voice could be heard. "Children, gather to my room please" Roger said. What they saw there was a small TV with the letter N on it. "Hello children, as many of you know, I am N. Many of you here are very gifted, you
have many traits that are desirable in what I see as a proper successor to myself, Now it's time to show what you are capable of" The Screen turned off. This was Wammy's House, a school for gifted minds and the secret place where the successor to the detective L was chosen. This year there were many candidates, now they are being put to the test.

Elsewhere in the shinigami world a large figure looked down at the human world. "Heh , this will be fun" he said before dropping his book, into the portal that linked his world to the humans

Biography: When he was young, his house was attacked by a psychotic serial killer, and what happend in there was unknown, but when it was all done, he was the only one that had come out, covered in blood, obviously harmed. He ended up going to an adoption center at this young age, but then Wammy's acknowledged him, and took him in. But as his years continued on there, he began to hate it there more and more, prefering to be a loaner, since he didn't really trust being around people, and then just one day left. But then, when the kira case started up, he was sent an invitation to return. he sent a reply saying that he would assist, but now that he had his own life, he would not fully return there. But he had decided that soon, he would go back to visit for old times sake. The rest of his history is pretty much unknown.

That is all that is known about him though. When he found the death note one day, he was absolutely amazed by its powers, but did not wait to begin to use them. He studied up on the past kira though, in an attempt to learn more about him, studying on all mistakes that were known to the public, observing them in order to ensure his own success, knowing that L would end up coming after him (not like the public knows that L died, ya know). And so after taking considerable thought, though he did not want to, he knew that his most reasonable advantage would be to pose as a fake god, in order to control the masses more, though he swore to ensure that the original goal of Kira were to live on in him

ooc: thought I would put in a succesor since in all of the threads I have ever been in (including the very original one that I made way back during kh-vids.net v2), I never got to make one since I always was kira. I won't really use him all that often, but I'll still have him around to use

The group of Children dispersed, now that N had turned off the monitor. Now that the crowd had cleared Diesel could be seen in the back drawing, in fact he had been drawing the whole time, hardly bothering to listen to N. "...N..I wonder what he looks like" He said wondering to himself as he sketched away.

Meanwhile the DeathGod Grado had been flying all over the place "Hmm, now where could my Death Note have gone to? I wonder if a human has already picked it up". He said to himself as a random thought came up.. " I wonder what the apples from here taste like" he said licking his lips

 

ooc: not without demmy though. Demmy the one who told me about the thread, and before I was't plannen on joinen (already a member of two other death note threads so I wasn't planning to at first), but it is thanks to her that I got this stroke of insperation.

 

OOC- Yeah... I'm on Return of Kira too... Don't judge me by what Blondie's like ._. She's just fun to play, sl*tty, confident and psycotic how could that not be fun. XD

"I heard that someone drew him once, back when he was here..." Keely said distractedly as she watched the sunlight playing through the leaves of the trees in the courtyard outside and the birds swooping through the clouds. Seemingly off on a wild fanasty of a hollow, empty headed day dream. But that was far from the case, she too was wondering that same question; along with many, many others. Like what had he ment by "...Now it's time to show what you are capable of." ? Was something happening outside in the world they didn't know of? N couldn't be so old as to be expecting to die soon, and her certainly wasn't reckless enough, so why was he considering his sucessor now when everything seemed rather peaceful? But maybe that was why, maybe he could tell this was the calm before the storm, as much as Keely tried to deny it something was coming. Something huge and that could through off the course of history.

 

Matt sat infront of his computer, writing down name after name, scrolling down a list of articles while on his lap top, while what appeared to be 100's of other websites were on. His computer had so many on that it would almost seem to jumbled for someone to even be able to get an idea on what sites he was going on. Every name he saw, he wrote down in his death note, catching up on criminals that should have been punished before from the year 2000 to the current year. His eyes did not blink once as he did so. he was writing names down at a pretty fast rate as well, since criminals were dropping like flies as if in order, as at some prisons, it could be noticible that 2 or 3 criminals were all dieing at almost the same time.

ooc: good thing is that more criminals die since unlike Kira, he doesn't go to extra schools and stuff.

 

"Is that so..." Diesel said wondering how young he must be, considering how long it had been before he had taken L's position."It would be fun to meet him" He closed his pad and got up to walk around for a bit. His thoughts quickly turned to the situation at hand, how to become N's successor.

Meanwhile Grado had been looking through the window at the one writing the names. "Oh! It looks like I got someone good to pick up the notebook" He said looking closely at the book. "It's hardly been a few days and he had already written down quite a few names" He chuckled

 

Matt became alert when he heard the voice. "Who's there" he said, ordering the intruder to reveal himself.

 

"Hmm? It seems you can see me now." He said stepping into the room and looking at Matt with a big smile. "Surely you've read the rules. I may not look like much, but I'm the shinigami" He said coming closer

 

Keely began to slowly twist and turn her long,ebony hair between her slender fingers; a few new questions coming to light in her mind: N did know that setting a group of intelligent, and in more then a few cases agressive, teenagers against each other would only have one out come? Every one resulting to attrition, killing there way to supremacy, in end, be it directly or not, she was certain there wouldn't be one 'successor' without blood in his or her hands. Even if the death was simply caused by not helping when they could to save the life of their housemates. This may just turn into a super smart Battle Royale with more twists and turns then a rollercoaster.

"I'm assuming you'll be working on the 'No harm, no foul; I work alone' thing then? Like everyone one else surley will?" She suddenly asked Diesel just as he left the room, not even turning around to face him as she spoke. The words seemingly a question from out of the blue. "Just wondering who I'll be working up against when the time comes and how to evaluate how to deal woth them. So think nothing of this question; It's just me wondering on how to deal with the situation at hand."

 

Matt picked up the sharpest object he could find, which was an old mail opener (you know, the thing shaped like a knife that people used to use to open sealed letters). "What do you want shinigami" he demanded. He was not planning on giving up his soul to any shinigami just after his work had began

 

Ryo was walking around thinking about what N said until he saw Keely and Diesel and heard what they were talking about
