I'm having a hard time falling asleep. Any advice?I literally only get two hours of sleep. I dunno why I'm like that.

If it was just the one night I really wouldn't worry about it too much right now to be honest.

However you can do things like drinking a warm drink not long before you sleep. Or having a bath/shower, listen to some relaxing music. I have heard that jogging or another form of light exercise can help but I am not sure about that one.

Mostly relax; if you spend all the time worrying about getting to sleep your brain can't calm down.

Don't eat anything before you lay down for sleep. Your body will be working to digest it and not only make it difficult to sleep, but should you fall asleep, it will interfere with your sleep. Watching TV helps me fall asleep as well, but don't become reliant on it -- I know my stepsister can not sleep without the TV on. Try to develop a consistent sleeping pattern, too. If simple remedies don't help, you might have a minor case of insomnia, in which case you should see a doctor. I know a lot of my friends developed it around their teenage years due to stress from school (or something like that, I can't remember exactly).

It's possible it's just a bit of insomnia. I have that a lot so I know what it's like. Just try to relax and focus on nothing but going to sleep. That usually helps me.

Do you have much on your mind or any worries? both things can lead to trouble sleeping I myself and a few people I know have had this problem.

A few weeks ago I was the same, but it may sound like and old granny's treatment but drinking a glass of milk before you go to bed I very good, and watch a movie to help your eyes get tired. A lot of TV's will turn off automatically when a Video is finished. (I still use video...) or you can turn it off yourself if you find yourself drifting off. :)

What is it that you do before you go to bed/sleep?

Because depending on what you do, that could be the cause.
