Chain of Memories Wait: Why does Riku's weapon change in CoM?

ok, the souleater was his sword that maleficent gave to him to use.

the reason he doesn't use the dark, chain less, keyblade is because it was ansems and it was used to free kairis heart and release the 6 other princesses....

the way to dawn is just another do dad that he got in the place of having not just dark powers, but also light powers.​

 

Riku Replica had a Replica also of Soul Eater. That's the best way to look at it at this point. Soul Eater is something attached to Riku, similar to how the Keyblade is linked to Sora. So if Riku Replica was an exact Replica of Riku, the Soul Eater tied to Riku also must have been duplicated in Repliku.

 

Ummm... I don't know how much attention you were paying in KH1... That keyblade was made from the hearts of the six princesses. When Sora stabbed himself with it, he released the hearts and the keyblade stopped existing. Remember?
