Kingdom Hearts II Wait...so, about Twilight Town...

Okay, I know I sound like a stupid n00b by saying this, but in Twilight Town, is it really sunset all the time? How does that work? And how does Roxas sleep with no curtains? I seriously can't comprehend this...is it like in "Hunchback of Notre Dame" where you're never really sure if the gargoyles are really alive or just in Quasimodo's mind? Except, with this, you're never really sure whether the time ever changes? Is it up to the player to guess if it's ever nighttime? Sorry, but this has been bugging me for a really long time, and I need some answers.

 

Hey, I've never noted those errors O_o, well, maybe Roxas is lazy, so can sleep easy.
Aaaand, I think it comes night only in Destiny Island lol:D

 

I never noticed that...good point! But during normal gameplay, isn't the sky not sunset? (I may be wrong, I really don't know...)

And isn't the place called Sunset Hill? Something like that.

 

Sunset terrace(Sunset hill is a area there) that i remember.
Maybe sometimes we don't notice and the town changes from Morning to sunset.

 

It's always Twilight,that's how it got its name.

As for sleeping and such,who knows?

 

Judging from the name, I believe that Twilight Town is on the border between Light and Darkness, therefore, it probably is sunset all the time, seeing as the passage from light to dark is a sunset, and "twilight". Yes, it probably is all sunset.

The reason he doesn't need curtains is because that the permanent sunset doesn't give off too much light. That is my theory.

 

Uhh, never really noticed this. I don't think it's sunset ALL the time, just that the cut scenes that show the sky all take place during sunset/sunrise. This is probably to reinforce the whole "Twilight" theme.

 

Yes, it's always sunset as said above.

In Beast's Castle, it's always night.

 

I agree, I didn't even notice either, but as said I guess it's Sunset Hill (I don't think I'm right) besides there's also Beast's Castle which is always night there, same goes for Halloween Town (I think..I don't know if I'm right x___x)

 

Halloween Town never had day in the first place.

 

That is because I believe most of the events that had taken place in the movie were at night. That and castles always look more imposing at night too.

 

Here I go with my theories and such nonsence xD!
I'm thinking that since the Sun is a light source (A very important one indeed) it probably has a connection to light, darkness, and twilight, thus if the world is made of twilight it will shine twilight while twilight still exists in that world. Ex. If darkness took over, it would become dark!

 

It's always twilight in Twilight Town, hence the name, TWILIGHT TOWN. And it's the same for Sunset Hills . . . it's always sunset there. It's not an error. The towns are just like that, therefore it has a name that pertains to it. As for sleeping . . . no one in KH sleeps in the first place. I mean when has Sora or his gang ever taken a break to sit and eat something. It's a game. Not everything is meant to make sense, so I say, DON'T QUESTION IT. :p

Well, also in TWTNW and in Port Royal

 

I always just thought it was named Twilight Town because it's always Twilight.

Yup I noticed. It was during my first time playing the game...
right around when I realized Jesse McCartney does the voice of Roxas.
I saw that when he woke up the sky was the same.
And i was like OMGness dude is he late or what?
And then my 8 year old brother looks at me like I'm a sped and says,
"DUHHH T-W-I-G-H-L-I-G-H-T- T-O-W-N?"
Glad you noticed though, and didn't have a little kid make you feel ******ed.​

I notice when i was lazy waiting for my sister so I move the camera in all directions and when I look up to the sky was all sunset...

So... it isn't that rare... people sleep on the bus or the train if their tired at any time of the day so... :)

 

It seems cool:D Maybe it is, if here would be the sun all the day:D. But maybe when Roxas wakes up there's the sun because he's lazy so he sleep until midday:D

 

Well, It was a created town anyway, so it doesn't really have to follow the rules. haha
