Kingdom Hearts II Wait....I Think we're all missing something here...

    *sigh of relief* I was reading this and I didn't think anyone was going to mention the lack of KH3 on the list of things to do for SE. They've said several times that it won't be called that, and people are still calling it that. Quite irritating.

    But on who you'll be playing as... I don't think it'll be Mickey. Why? I don't know, I just don't think it would be appropriate for the storyline. Since something in the secret ending mentions Xehanort's memory (unless I'm mistaken about that) why not think you'll play as Xehanort, since it's his memory? I'm sure Xehanort has quite an interesting story, and Sora is definitely out of the question of who you'll play as because... well, that far in the past, it was either during KH1 or when he was a little kid on Destiny Islands.

    If Kingdom Hearts is Sora's story, then of course the next game will be another person's story. I think you would either play as Ven or Terra. Probably Ven because he looks like Roxas who in turn looks like Sora

    We all know that the next game is not going to be called "Kingdom Hearts 3," but until it gets an official name, please don't go b******* about how people are using the wrong name. It's just short hand for "The next game that follows the Kingdom Hearts storyline."

    It's also true that the Secret Ending takes place in the past, but we can't assume that KH3 takes place in the past. My reasoning is that it wouldn't very much matter what would happen in the game if it took place before Kingdom Hearts, the fate of the worlds would still be the same because we know Sora would save them. And if we knew the worlds would be safe, it doesn't sound like a very exciting game. Also, at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2, Sora gets a letter from the King. So that would mean that we would have to wait for KH4 in order to know what the letter was about.

    Regaurding King Mickey, I really dought that he will be the main character in KH3, and there's a simple reason for that. It's true that Kingdom Hearts is a very Disney-influenced series, but Square Enix is still the creator. For you to play as King Mickey all through out the game would be a total Disney takeover of the game.

    it could be kingdom hearts 3 *points to dmc 3* if it was a prequel. but nomura said it wasnt going to be kh3.

    I don't think that you'll ever get to play as mickey as a main fighter unless the story revolved around him. If it does, however, that would be pretty cool.
