There;s many other reasons.. but I can;t think of it..

 

I can't afford a PS3 or a Xbox360 right now. I already have a Wii and I'm quite happy with that and my Dad won't stop hogging it!

 

GCN=21 million sold
Wii=20 Million sold & still has years to go

Doesn't seem like that big of a difference. Also, how many games are even on both systems? I didn't see many new GCN titles at all when the Wii launched.

I say PS3 is the best, because of its memory space, its abiility to get on the internet, and its just AWESOME graphics. No REALLY good games have come out for it to compare with things like SS bros. Brawl, and Halo 3, but just wait.......Final Fantasy 13 is on its way, and Kh3 is to come in the future^__^.

 

Okay, I have a Playstation 2 and my parents and I just bought a Wii. We bought it so we ocvuld play games together like Wii Sports and Wii Play. Now I'm still going to play my Playstation 2 because Wii games are so expensive. But Star Wars: The Force Unleashed makes me want to buy it for the Wii.

The reason I haven't got an XBOX 360 or Playstation 3 is it's way too expensive for the console itself, that, and the fact that the newer ones don't have backward computability.

 

I am a wii player, as I like the games. Instead of dedicating myself to a console, I choose to follow the games/designers. The reason for this is the consoles are only the tools, it is the designer's job to make it work.

Design wise, I like Sega. I also like nintendo. Square is cool too.

 

Yeah same goes for me.

 

I myself, am a gamer of many consoles. I don't absurdly dedicate myself just to one console just because of some overrated game

Between these three consoles, in my opinion, I consider the Wii to be better. Not because of its sales, but because of these specific reasons:

1: It really does appeal to gamers of all ages, even old people play the Wii.

2: You can always expect a unique style of gameplay with pretty much almost every game

3: You actually get healthy excersize off of playin' it

4: You can play classic games on it legally without altering the console in any way

5: You don't have to pay for online service


I just know I'm gonna get raped by sayin' this, but, that's why I like the Wii better. It focuses on gameplay rather than fancy graphics or media extras. It just focuses on the main point to serve as a video game system though it now does have a DVD playback function. And unlike the other two systems, only the Wii has actually helped in real-life situations. No lie

Well the Nintendo Wii is the cheapest system. but I like the Xbox 360 more:)

I am a Wii360 owner. I think that I log more hours onto my 360 than I do on my Wii though. The Wii is getting rather repetitive in my opinion. Brawl is the main reason that I'm holding onto it, oh and awaiting the release of Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast. The PS3 has a list of games that I'm excited for, but I'm not convinced to buy one until I find a game that gets really attached to me.

See, I'm a 360/Wii owner and I definately say that the 360 is more fun than the Wii, although if the 360 just gets boring and you want to go outside, because of the weather or whatever the case, the Wii is definately the best. But over all, I like the 360 more, cause when you want to play video games you want to relax and kick some butt.

I would have to say my favored console is the PS3 because of all the games for it coming out that I have eagerly been waiting for, and some that have already come out. The Bluray is an added thing that I don't mind one bit. Also, since many people have voiced about the backwards compatibility being missing, it seems Sony might give people a way to reinstall what is missing. I still have a PS2 so I don't worry too much about that.

I just can't get into Nintendo games anymore. They are so repetitive to me and I miss the old Nintendo games. The new stuff is just 3d spruced up same old. Also, I guess I am just not really into the most popular games as some of the characters just are too cutesy and annoy me to no end. Maybe I'm also sick of seeing furry porn from Nintendo characters as well. This isn't to say some Nintendo games like Zelda stuff I find fun still, but I think I just outgrew or got bored with most of it.

Xbox is cool and many games for the PS3 and Xbox can be found so that's good. If it wasn't for the exclusive games I want though on PS3 and the fact it has Bluray which saves me money not having to buy another Bluray player, I'd probably have said the Xbox since it does have other games I enjoy.

 

Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Resistance: Fall of Man 2 aren't even out yet, and Army of Two is on the 360.

 

Plus the fact that Kingdom Hearts 3 hasn't been announced to be in development, much less which Next-Gen console it will be on.
