I've been having a problem with Visual Boy Advance lately. It's worked really well thus far, but recently, it's started to have frame rate issues. Before, it ran at 90-102%, but now it's gone down to 70-25%, rendering my ROMs unplayable. Is there a certain configuration needed? Here is a screen shot of the emulator (if you'll notice, it says 60% in the top bar), and my configurations:

    List of Configurations:

    Frame Skip:
    Automatic
    0

    Video:
    Vsync
    Render Method GDI

    Emulator:
    Disable Status Messages
    Pause when inactive window
    Real Time Clock
    BMP Format

Delete the .ini then open up VBA. It will create a new .ini. See if that fixes it.

I agree. And if that doesn't work it might not be a problem with the emulator itself. What kind of system are you running on? System stats? I don't think there would suddenly be a problem with your system out of nowhere like that but it's still a possibility.

I highly doubt it, since it's been running smoothly for the past few months (since this is a new laptop)

Well did you delete the ini??? And it's possible that VBA corrupted itself. Has it crashed at all or maybe computer died or got turned off while it was running?

That seems to have done the trick, thanks!

I'll post again if there are anymore problems
