Vista isn't pretty anymore, what happened? D:

    Ok, so Vista used to look like this:

    But now it looks like this:

    I didn't change any settings or anything, and I can't figure out what's wrong. D:

    I have Vista Home Basic, btw. If I had my choice, I'd have like, professional premium or whatever it's called.

    And no, I don't want any comments like "Ew, Vista" or "Ew, Windows." Helpful replies, please.    ​

    Have you tried restarting? It usually only does that if you have too many programs open or a single program taking up all of your computer's virtual memory.

    Hmm...

    Try Start --> Control Panel --> Appearance and Personalization --> Personalization --> Display settings

    Make sure your Resolution is on high and your colors are on high (32 bit).
