Okay so, lately I've been noticing that. My left eye isn't as good as my right eye if you know what i mean. I never noticed this problem before but now I've began to grow aware that; When I close my right eye and try to read something with JUST using my left eye, I can't. Text is completely blurred and i can't make it out and that It is quite blurry when it comes to looking at people with just my left eye. I'm not sure if this is just temporary or what. Should i see the optician about it or should I not be worried. Because lately I haven't been able to see things that are right in front of me if my mom asks me to get something for her and i'm beginning to get very aggravated by it.

I'd definitely have a doctor take a look at it, then.

I hope this isn't the beginning of a cataract...

    Have you seen an ophthalmologist/doctor?

Could potentially just be loss of good sight in one eye. In which case, you can get glasses/lenses.

However, since it's really bad, seeing a doctor isn't a bad idea.

The same thing happened to me years ago, I wear glasses ever since. You should consult an ophthalmologist, if you indeed need glasses/lenses then the longer you wait the quicker your eyesight will worsen (it gets worse over time even if you wear glasses, but slower). Personally I just asked my parents, they' re both opticians. ^^

Did you check out at which distance things start to get blurry ? If they' re blurrier the farther they are then you' re myopic, like me. If they' re blurrier the closer they are then you' re farsighted. Finally, when you watch a bunch of parallel lines if they appear blurrier at specific angles then you' re astigmatic, like me. These are the three main eye defects.

To my knowledge, it shouldn't be anything too serious, my vision is somewhat different in my eyes (one lense from my glasses is -2.0 and the other -1.50 iirc). You're probably gonna need glasses/contact lenses or laser surgery though, so I suggest going to an eye doctor.

Go to an eye doctor as soon as possible. It may or may not get more serious.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, i'll be going to see the optician this weekend.

And my vision for my left eye is more or less blurred even when someone is close or far. i'd say about an arms length away that i can't make out their features and they seem to be blurred.

Also than you tequila for suggesting that, decided to go make an appointment with a doctor just in case it isn't anything bad like cataract

Myopia it is then. My left eye sees clearly to almost an arm length, but my right eye only sees clearly to a hand length.

It wouldn't hurt to see a doctor. Plus it's good to know that throughout our lives most of us have a vision change. I've had to get stronger glasses over the years personally and also feel that my left it weaker than my right. It may be a natural thing or something bad like a cataract. It is better to go to a doctor sooner than later to make sure.

Hope all turns out well <3
