Well firstly, it's wayyyy too bright and there's no real light source. It's pretty monotone, and the stock placement leaves something desired. Read up on the rule of thirds. It's hard to make out Vincent and it looks as though there are no foreground effects. Try adding text and some clipping masks.
Yes it does look too bright, adn without a light source it just seems that his gun is exploding. And with the way you made Vincent blend in too much. And it looks plain...try adding some text so that it will catch the eye more than the brightness does. Other than that the colours are pretty nice.
